One of our Little Black Book members, Grazier Photography in Boston, is doing something so unique in the world of weddings…I just had to share it with you.
“Grazier Photography, a Boston-based husband and wife team, is ushering in the New Year with a Green Wedding Photography package. When their wedding clients choose this innovative package, 5% of the package price will be invested in carbon offset credits. Grazier Photography’s investment of approximately $400 per wedding will go a long way towards offsetting the carbon waste produced by an average wedding, even compensating for much of the guests’ air and car travel.”
The Graziers‘ profession is fairly eco-friendly to begin with: they work at home, shoot digital and work as paper-free as possible, and they are conscientious about recycling packaging and other materials. Since discovering Couture Books, a green wedding album company, the husband and wife team are now able to complete an eco-friendly wedding package. Couture books are made using 50% recycled content and in addition to supporting a handful of carefully chosen charities such as Oprah Winfrey’s School for Leadership, Habitat for Humanity, and the National Wildlife Federation, the company works hard to make their production process as carbon-neutral as possible.

I have to say, I’m kind of in love with this duo. Their photographs are just so real. The work that this pair produces truly is…life at it’s finest. Weddings at their most beautiful. Couples madly in love. They are the epitome of what a great photographs should be.
