Even if I closed my eyes and tried real hard, I couldn’t envision a more beautiful place to be than a field of lavender. I just imagine the sun setting over an expanse of purple coursing in the wind. Its as picture-perfect as it gets. And, thanks to the stylings of The Wedding Project and photographers Phreckleface Photography and Katrina Amburgey Photography, we can enjoy a taste of it here.
From Katrina Amburgey Photography… The theme for this shoot was “Upcycled Vintage” and it was located in a beautiful lavender field. The reason we went with this theme is because I love the romantic feel of vintage touches but also wanted to keep things affordable and not too far of a reach for brides planning their big day. I made this possible by using my great grandmas antique china, using wedding chicks for the invitations, menu and place cards and using a local events rental company for the details (vs brides buying their own). Together paired with a borrowed dress from a past client, a young couple in love and a beautiful lavender field close to sunset the result was amazing!
