This, my friends, is exactly why I adore fall. The rich tones, the serious coziness and the pure beauty that bursts from every moment of autumn pretty… it’s awesome. So add in some insanely gorgeous wedding inspiration from a group of talented vendors (Karen Obrist Photography + Floressence Designs) and a breathtaking fall backdrop and, well… I’m sold. From Karen Obrist Photography… Here’s a little intro: a vibrant fall themed flower crown with matching bouquet, a Free People dress that is out of a dream, and a robin’s egg blue Anthropologie coat that is a perfect combination with the PNW greenery. Top it off with some red lips, a matching cardigan and a couple that could pass as models.
Driftwood on the beach and one of the prettiest bridges in WA made a perfect backdrop for this shoot. I couldn’t of made this as beautiful without the incredible flowers from Floressence Designs. Anne Bradfield and I first got to work together over the summer on a Seattle wedding, and it was truly a joy to collaborate with her again! I couldn’t have asked for things to fall more perfectly into place – it’s these spur of the moment personal shoots that really make my heart sing. Also a big thanks to Marissa and Tyler for modeling for me! Marissa is a wedding photographer as well and it was both nerve-racking and exciting to photograph a fellow photographer! I think what I loved most about this shoot were how vivid the colors were, especially in the flowers.
