A Monday morning agenda that includes a quick trip to the lovely state of Connecticut and a breathtaking Tyrone Farm affair sounds like a pretty great day to me... especially when that breathtaking affair includes a plethora of darling DIY details, pretty yellow hues and a bride and groom that seriously could.not.be sweeter. Add in a cotton candy cocktail hour, lawn games and potted plant favors and, well... you're about to go...
"The Knot"
Oh be still my woodland, rustic, DIY loving heart! This wedding is the epitome of gorgeous and has so many sweet and simple DIY projects that can be easily translated and infused into your own big day. I'm loving their creativity from the plant-stand ladder ceremony backdrop to the beautifully understated table settings. Emily Blake Photography was on hand to capture each and every detail. What else can I say? I'm totally smitten.

The first board features the raspberry color prominently in different shades for a warm, rich feel. I also incorporated a cream color to add depth to the palette of red and white. The unusual cake, adorable changes of shoes and ruby sparkling wine add cute unexpected details to the day.

I was perusing the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style site today and completely fell in love with some of the gowns that they feature for 2007. The magazine's focus is style and high end design and it shows... the gowns on the 2007 runways that are highlighted really are drool worthy. As is everything else on this site. The flowers are GORGEOUS, the event designers are over-the-top beautiful...I could go on and on and on. Okay, focus.
