A wedding sprinkled with vintage pretties is one of our favorite kind here at SMP. There is something so gosh darn charming + romantic about finding treasures from another time and place that make our hearts skip a beat. Whether it's a touch of vintage lace to dress up a tablescape or a vintage typewriter paired with love letters for a guest book table, these lovely details become a part of a new story and this sweet round up is sure to inspire yours. 1. "Ryan Ray Photography"
I really don't even know where to begin with this wedding. Of course there are the hold-your-breath beautiful images that our friend Ryan Ray captured. And the this-can't-be-real farm backdrop complete with perfect horses and dressed up vintage bicycles. But then there is also this bride and this groom. Who are so madly in love I almost think I should look away. But then I can't. Because they are just so lovely and the wedding that...
I'm a Texas girl. Through and through. And while at dinner with a friend who had recently moved to Texas, I realized that my Texas and the Texas that people might think about when they hear the state mentioned, are two entirely different places. The Texas that I love is made of gorgeous, locally grown food. And perfect sunsets. And al fresco everything. It's warm and inviting and welcoming and this shoot by our great friends - photographer...
The holidays are the perfect time of year to slow down, celebrate and enjoy the simple things in life; like good food and conversation with family and friends. And if it happens to resemble anything even close to this dinner party captured by Ryan Ray, then we're in luck. A feast of epic proportions from Trumpet Vine Catering along with a relaxed, pine-infused tablescape...
Ryan Ray and I are about to have our one year anniversary. We met at Jose's photography workshop nearly a year ago and since then, we've had the sheer pleasure of falling head over heels for his work here on SMP. He's also a pretty cool guy which makes the relationship that much sweeter. So when he sent us this Texas beauty, we did the usual swoon, smile, happy dance...
We've been chomping at the bit over the long weekend go get this week started on SMP, particularly because this pretty little number by Ryan Ray was first on the lineup of lovely. Thankfully the time has come to share the pretty, so we don't have to wait a moment longer to soak up all the sweetness of this Texas fête. One little scroll through all the gorgeous images and you'll see why we had ants in our pants to get it on your screen -...
Ryan Ray Photography sent us such a sweet bundle of goodness, we could hardly stand the wait to share. It's all at once intimate and wildly gorgeous with a couple exchanging vows in front of a handful of loved ones in the vast beauty of Sedona. There's snow, there's lots and lots of love and insanely pretty imagery by Ryan Ray. You know what that's called? A Wedding Trifecta.
You've had a full day to see this fabulous wedding by Ryan Ray unfold. From the inspiration to the ceremony to the...
We've been falling head over heels for today's Ryan Ray + Angel Swanson of Events of Love and Splendor wedding and you know what? It's about to get even better. Something about the sun setting in the background, the bride and groom that are hopelessly in love, the whimsical details, the colorful touches. The crazy amount of beauty that seems to jump out of each and every...
I met photographer Ryan Ray out in Mexico a couple of months back while we were soaking up the genius that is Jose Villa. Ryan was actually playing model for the workshop (yep, talented AND dreamy) and I was speaking. While we were out there, Ryan told me that he'd been holding on to a really special wedding, one that he was saving for just the right blog, just the right moment.
