Everything Docuvitae touches (or rather, captures) is pure gold, but this Sonoma wedding is special. It takes place at the groom's family vineyard. Yep. His family owns and runs this vineyard, and the couple vacations here all the time. So along with the gorgeous wedding, there was a layer of intimacy woven through the entire day. Through every warm detail, every welcoming smile, every sweet embrace. That is perfection.

The only thing better than getting hitched in scenic Sonoma is a wedding at a breathtaking location owned by your family. That's exactly what this couple did at Buckeye Ranch with the help of Blissful Events. It's tough to take your eyes of all of the never ending miles of natural beauty, but the bride's lacy Monique Lhuillier dress makes it easier.
When it comes down to it, a wedding is about the L-O-V-E. Sure, we go crazy for the prettiest of bouquets or a stunning pair of shoes, but above all else, we adore that spark between a newly crowned husband and wife or that melt-your-heart kiss after the vows. It's these moments that make a wedding and our last installment of the day is toting so many of these warm and fuzzy snapshots along with a big dose of Fun (with a capital F). ...
There is just something about Sonoma County and Marin County weddings that make my heart sing. Maybe it's the perfect blue skies without a cloud in sight or the lush, green landscapes or the casual elegance that exudes from every event but whatever it is I can't get enough of it! This watercolor-inspired wedding by Janae Shields Photography embodies everything I love and oh-so much more! ...
Spring and summer like to believe that they're the only seasons fit for a garden wedding. Well, they shouldn't gloat just yet because fall is about to give them a run for their money. There is no need to shut the garden gates at the first falling leaf and this Sonoma County wedding by Silvana Difranco is the picture perfect proof. It is deliciously draped in some of the most fantastic fall hues I've ever seen like tangerine, peach...
Up next is this sweet-as-can-be DIY vintage chic wedding by Gavin Farrington Photography. We're loving the bunches upon bunches of fresh lavender, the bride's amazingly tousled-to-perfection hair, and the gorgeous views that seem to go on for miles and miles. Oh, and what's really amazing about this wedding is the bride's dress because not only did her mother wear it on her wedding day, but her grandmother walked down the aisle in...
I know we've been on California overload these days (and I swear, we have some amazing non-Cali weddings in the pipeline) but I just couldn't resist this one. And I've decided that orange bicycles just might be the absolute best accessories for a wedding, especially when the bride and groom met while on a bike ride! Tanja Lippert sent us this SO stinking cute wedding she shot in Healdsburg, California and we are ALL ABOUT...
