Intimate weddings have my heart. The type of fête that almost feels like a dinner party, but with a little extra soul. Where you can chat with, and more importantly, hug everyone, and the food is delicious and plentiful. This is just such a party, and it's made even more fabulous because it was hosted at the stylish Gramercy Park Hotel celebrating an equally stylish couple. We get to see the fête unfold through the talented lens...
"Belathee"
Hopefully you had a chance to devour all the deliciousness that was this morning's post. Pretty doesn't even begin to describe the images of all the gorgeous Ron Ben-Israel cakes the ladies of Belathée sent over. Lucky for all of us, the cake-fest isn't over.
Okay, SMP-ers. On to the really good part from today's wedding...the details. The screen-printed ceremony backdrop that was re-used as a photobooth, the sweet flowers, the INSANE paper goods from DIY coasters to placecards. I could seriously go on and on about all of the perfect touches that the couple infused that not only captured their personality, that also made the space so warm and so inviting. And SO chic. I mean, even the guests were completely adorable. Photographed beautifully by...
I'm pretty sure that today's featured wedding is one of the most lovely, charming, filled-to-the-brim-with-personality weddings that we've ever featured. So much so that we've broken it down into two, absolutely perfect posts. The wedding was sent to us by the always inspiring team at Belathee whose photographs have given us a little window into SUCH a special wedding. Every detail was handmade by the bride and groom, every touch was...
Good morning SMP-ers! I hope everyone had a lazy, wonderful weekend. We are kicking off the week with one of THE most spectacular weddings I've ever seen. You know, one of those weddings that makes you want to dump all of the decisions you've made thus far and copy every little detail that this bride infused. Photographed by our friends at Belathee, I am in swoon city this morning.
Boy oh boy, are you girls in for a treat. Beyond a treat. You are in for one of the most beautiful days we've ever had on Style Me Pretty, which says a lot since I try so hard to make every day really beautiful on SMP. The cute, cute, way-too-talented duo over at Belathee sent us today's featured affair. And when I tell you that it's gorgeous. Well, that's kind of like the understatement of the century. Designed by the FABulous...
Doesn't it seem like every girl's dream to hop on a plane and tie the knot in a little French village. Well, this bride didn't just do that...she actually made it look impossibly romantic, and impossibly easy. Bottom line, we are green with envy. Thank you so much to Belathee for sending this perfect little wedding our way. Love, love, love doesn't come close to describing how we feel.
And of course, a huge thank you to...
Whenever I get weddings like these, it's almost impossible for me to show off the photographs in a way that makes me completely happy. There is just so much beauty, so much sweetness poured into every image, it's like picking my favorite pair of shoes. Impossible. So, although we have TONS of Belathee gorgeousness going up from today's French wedding...feel free to ask for an encore at the end.
Our...
My poor, sweet husband. After seeing today's featured wedding that Belathee sent over, I am officially going to start bugging him about renewing our vows. For no other reason that to have a wedding just like this one. In France. With those most perfect details ever. And although we have a day of total beauty for you, I wanted to get you good and ready with a few "before" pictures. The girls, the boy, the place. The everything...
So, if you've been reading the blog this week, you know that I am at Engage '09, which is an incredible event that the wonderful Rebecca Grinnals put together for wedding pros that are innovating in their field. It has been a beyond words experince and I've made some seriously great friends in some of the most well known vendors in the world. And it's in the Cayman Islands so....umm. Does it get any better?
Anyway, I was going to hand the blog over to some of my guest bloggers for...
