With roots in North Carolina and Texas, this couple set out to craft a day that was oh so Southern. It’s classic in the best of ways but with an infusion of color and a lineup of cowboy boots that gives traditional Southern a fresh twist. Photographed by Aves Photography along with the prettiest purple florals by Kate Foley Designs, there’s even more for you to pore through right here.
From the Bride…I grew up in North Texas, and Will was raised in North Carolina, so my goal from the beginning was to plan a uniquely Southern affair with bits of Texas and North Carolina mixed in. I incorporated rich fall colors, lush pastel florals, and plenty of DIY inspiration to create a one-of-a-kind night that was truly unforgettable. We had so much fun from the beginning of the day to the very end, and Aves Photography perfectly captured the joy of our wedding. The Fort Worth skyline created a perfect backdrop to our day, and each little touch of Texas (including the custom bridal boots from M. L. Leddy’s) and North Carolina (the groom’s cake depicting the NC flag) reminded us of home!
