From Dana… This engagement shoot of Shavonne and Antonio took place in a small east Texas town of Flint, TX. The location was on the property of Shavonne’s parents. It was a special place to Shavonne since this is where she grew up, and where her father later built a house and laid the brick himself to finally give them the home of their dreams. It was such an amazing place as it was beautifully filled with tall pine trees and dirt roads as well as being surrounded by Shavonne’s fathers beautiful fruit, veggie and flower gardens. Even though, it was an early sunrise shoot, the heat was definitely present, as it typically is in June in Texas. Although, it was so easy to forget about the weather since Shavonne and “Tony” where so fun to shoot. They were up for anything we asked them to do and were absolutely hilarious when they were trying to get each other to smile. Whether it was Shavonne talking in a British accent or singing in conversation, to us telling Tony to give us his best “GQ” look (and trying hard not to bust out laughing), they were absolutely one of the best couples I have even done a session with. The best part was seeing how much they loved each other and made each other life like best friends that had known each other their whole lives.
