If color is your thing, this wedding is for you. If color is not your thing, prepare to have your mind changed by Branching Out Floral & Event Design. This wedding, captured beautifully by Amy Herfurth Photography, is a stunning display of color!
From the beautiful bride… I started with a feeling- a fanciful escape, with the elegance of a traditional wedding but the colors of candy land. For floral inspiration, I turned to my own garden- trailing, bright, and somewhat untamed. From there, we created a mix of mirrored, silver accents and whimsical, billowing centerpieces that flowed over their vases. In keeping with an airy theme, we had the ceremony on the 9th floor terrace overlooking the city, under a large floral archway.
Being from South Louisiana, nothing felt more like home than the Turtle Creek Mansion, reminiscent of our plantations. And since our two biggest hobbies are traveling and eating, we wanted a diverse but delicious and culinary experience- sushi, truffle mac n cheese, and a cake with three unique flavors, chocolate mojito, carrot, and white chocolate.
