From Kristi Wright Photography… I absolutely love what I do and I hope it shows when it comes to my client’s experience. There is so much to worry over when it comes to planning a wedding and I hope my clients feel that once they’ve booked me, they can relax a little easier knowing I’m completely invested in them and their wedding day.
I shot my first wedding in 2009. Honestly, it was a bit by accident and believe me I tried to convince my friends to hire someone with experience but like many other brides, my friend (who freely admits this now) didn’t really value photography. So it was either me or a bunch of guests with disposable cameras. I wasn’t about to let that be her only memory so I agreed to photograph her wedding. The next thing I know a fairly well known blog had picked up the wedding and it all really took off from there. I’ve worked very hard to get where I am today and continue to work to improve everything I can about my business. While my path is definitely not recommended, I feel so fortunate to have a job that I love and allows me to be creative while working with such amazing people…telling the story of the start of their lives together – is something I take very seriously.

I am excited about everything! I have dream about my wedding since the moment I met my fiancé, when I realized he is the one I was waiting for. Planning a wedding can be stressful, well imagine planning the wedding from another country. I´m Mexican and my fiancé American, we are going to get married in Austin, and I am doing all the planning process through internet! I found Kristi Wright webpage, I just want to say the way she captures the light is magical, speechless! Even when some people think to take photos is easy, I consider that photographers have a special gift, it´s not easy to capture the people´s escence. I can see that Kristi has this gift!
My fiance and I moved to NYC shortly after our engagement so he could attend law school. I am most excited about coming home to Texas and celebrating our love with our family and friends in the place where our own happily ever after began.
I am most excited about...seeing my fiance's face as I walk down the aisle. He has the best smile; I know it's filled with love and I cherish and adore that smile. It instantly makes me feel better when I'm worried or nervous, and so that day, when all the jitters and nervous thoughts of this or that going wrong or not being in the right place, will go away when I see that smile.
I am excited to see everything floating around in our heads finally come together. We have put so much time & thought into making our wedding be not just about us getting hitched but as a celebration of this next step with those we love. And making sure it really speaks to who we are and not just a copy of some pretty picture in a magazine.
I am most excited about our vows! It's really special to share our love with our friends and family :)
