From Carlea J Photography…Everything about Audrey and Nick’s wedding day was laid back and fun. I adored Audrey’s choice of gown- a one shoulder fitted top with a giant ruffled skirt, accessorized perfectly by her silver glitter heels. Audrey and Nick chose to do a first look which could not have gone more perfectly. It was super sweet seeing Nick’s face as he spun Audrey around to get a look at her.
The ceremony took place at Central Christian Church in Austin Texas, which has views of both the Texas state Capitol and The University of Texas tower, where Audrey and Nick recently graduated from. After the ceremony, guests walked across the street to The Allan House for an outdoor reception featuring delicious bites from Whole Foods and dancing (fist pumping) under the stars. The groom’s cake had the entire lyrics to “The Eyes of Texas” (The UT fight song) spelled out in icing encircling the cake. Guests were treated to a late night snack of passed chocolate chip cookies and milk on the dance floor. Audrey and Nick were showered with lavender seeds as they exited. Audrey hand made the “thank you” burlap bunting that the wedding party is holding in the group photos. Super cute!
