Heritage Ranch Country Club Wedding by Lora Ayers Photography

A whole lot of adorable is coming your way this lovely Friday morning, all courtesy of this charming McKinney wedding by Lora Ayers Photography.  With one travel-inspired, DIY detail after another, it’s pretty much guaranteed to put a spring in your step and a smile on your face with each and every moment.  I am head over heels for the creative centerpieces (each themed with a different country), the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses and those vibrant blue vintage suitcases.  But, my favorite part of this fabulous soiree?  Seeing the personalities of the bride and groom shine through each and every detail.  Perfection.  Click here for even more!

From Lora Ayers Photography Emily & Chris have visited many countries and brought back dozens of trinkets from their journeys.   Their love for travel inspired them to choose it for their theme. The colors were navy blue, light blue, and pops of red. Emily (the bride) searched on eBay and found enough vintage suitcases for each attendant to have one.  She also chose postcards from different countries for the guests to write notes on instead of signing in.  Then the guests dropped them in an open suitcase. Each table at the reception had a theme from a country that Emily and Chris have visited. The cakes had the same blues, and incorporated Chris’s love for books. I loved the wedding invitations which were made by the brides friend and looked like boarding passes. The envelopes that the invitations went in were very old and Emily found them in a closet at her work office.  The programs were made to look like passports.
