From the Bride…The ”theme” was natural and romantic. Our colors were chocolate brown and different shades of green which went nicely with the reception venue and decor. We wanted to play off the incredible views that the reception site offered and keep everything “Austin Hill Country-esque!”

There are so many “best moments” but the most obvious was when we walked out of the church as husband and wife! Dancing the night away with our friends and family was also pretty special too. We absolutely loved our band, Matchmaker, dancing under the Texas stars with a surprise cool summer breeze was magical!

My biggest piece of advice for brides would be “Trust your gut!” If you find there is something with a vendor or detail that you don’t like then speak up! It’s your day and you don’t want to look back and think I could have avoided this had I said something. Lastly, make the reception your own. Include your special touches where you can, it will make your wedding different from any other!

Very lovely event. Did I miss the location of the reception? My daughter is getting married in Austin and we are looking for venues. This one is beautiful. Thank you.

The reception was at Austin 71, however I don't believe they will be doing weddings for a while as they are trying to sell.

Love the guest book idea! Where did you guys get the tree stump and how were your guests able to "carve" notes into it?

Beautiful photos! I'm sad that they might not be doing weddings - as this is an amazing venue! Maybe the new owner will have them up and running for my wedding in 2013...
