The cuteness meter is spinning off the charts with this downhome, homemade, good ol’ Texas affair by dearcharli photography. The adorable bride, who hand-crafted much of the decor and design, has more style in her little pinky than most of us do in our whole bodies! I’m in love with her sweet tea length dress, strings of pearls and precious tulle veil. Those creative juices definitely flowed into the rest of the decor too which is playful, pretty and perfect! From dearcharli photography… Cowboy boots for him and blue shoes for her really set the tone for Beth & Travis’ wedding: traditionally Texan but with some homemade attitude. While Beth is an Etsy fan, you can find plenty of thought out family touches in her details. She set up a lemonade stand by the outdoor ceremony seating so the guests could sip while they waited. On this stand they set out little nicknacks from their time together along with a scrabble board that spelled out special sentiments. Since Travis’ grandma was no longer with them, it was important to the couple to represent her Japanese heritage by serving sushi as appetizers. Beth’s dad hand cut all the wood table decorations from gathered fallen tree branches; this fatherly touch held the table numbers and supported the flower arrangements and wedding cake. Their dance floor had removable decals of images from their engagement session and Beth’s bridals. Overall, the wedding has a real warm feeling from the wood paneling of the venue to the golden paper lanterns hanging over the dance floor to the many sunny bridesmaids’ dresses!

Beth - LOOOVED your wedding and you make an adorable bride! I have a bride who is going bonkers over those shoes. Do you know the style # / where you bought them? THANK YOU!
The band was the Original Recipe Band from Austin, Texas. A full variety band that plays a wide assortment of popular music including swing, pop, country, rock and Motown. There are ten performers in the band - four in the horn section, four in the rhythm section, our two featured female vocalists and two male vocalists within the band. Beth & Travis worked closely with me song selections to pick only those they loved to hear. But the "no play" list was not very long at all as they were both discovered to be lovers of many different kinds of music. Again the band had a wonderful time playing for everyone!

Did I miss it? No mention of the location....just wondering if this was on a private ranch/land or is it a rentable venue?
thanks,
Cindi
We are so happy that the bride found dearcharli photography at a Bridal Extravaganza! The details are stunning and all of the vendors did an amazing job!
The venue is called Texas Old Town. It's located in Kyle, Texas, and was a great venue.
I did forget the band that played for us, Original Recipe Band. They were amazing, and so accomodating.
I love your necklace, Beth! Where did you get it and how can I get one for my own wedding?!?!? Everything about your wedding is so fabulous!
