From Jenny of Jenny DeMarco Photography…I met this wonderful couple in June and am absolutely astonished at what an amazingly beautiful wedding they pulled together in just a few short months with so many challenges (like it being outside in August!) Even with the crazy Texas heat, Robin couldn’t have looked more radiant and their wedding couldn’t have been a classier affair. They really looked after their guests and put some truly original personal touches to their wedding. Their wedding ceremony was held at 10am with a brunch reception that immediately followed in Dripping Springs, just southwest of Austin, Texas. To combat the heat, the bride used beautiful paper fans instead of bridesmaids bouquets. When the guests arrived, they were also given paper parasols with a note that said ‘please shade your self’.
Robin’s family formerly owned a seed company and she used their family heirloom burlap seed bags as table centerpieces, which was also the inspiration for the decor. The colors and burlap theme ran through out their wedding details. Robin even carried raw cotton in her bouquet. To tie in the yellow from the ‘corn’ seed bags and also tie in the summer season, Robin used lots of yellow lemons and citrus in her details. These included lemon drops on the tables and lemon bunt cakes as desert. Robin and Andrew served brunch to their guests which was provided by one of Austin’s best caterer’s, Royal Fig. The day’s menu consisted of crème brûlée french toast, eggs benedict, handpicked cheeses from Antonelli’s cheese shop, a bloody marry and mimosa bar, and of course, the cinnamon roll tower (above). Dear lord, hope you weren’t dieting that day, the food was beyond amazing.
Robin also had TWO engagement rings..lucky gal! Andrew worked with a jeweler to custom design the ring on the right, incorporating stones and metal from both Robin and Andrew’s families. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite ready when they left for their African safari trip. Andrew proposed on top of a mountain in Africa with a ring he purchased a ring from a local craftsmen in a village while they were traveling, made from silver and giraffe tail. When they came home from their travels, and the ring was finished, he gave her the ‘real’ engagement ring. Finally, Andrew gave Robin a rock with their names engraved on it for their first valentines together. He picked it up on the corner of South Lamar and 6th, where they bumped into each other and ended up on an in-promptu first date. They have been collecting rocks from their travels and special places ever since. So, naturally, they incorporated rocks with their initials r+a stamped on them.

What a beautiful wedding...I love the cotton incorporated into the bouquet and the total dedication to guests (fans, etc.) They must have been talking about it for a while!

Is her flower sash also Casablanca? Love it!
This wedding is beautiful and makes me long for summer! I adore the colors, I love the modern and romantic flowers, and the bridesmaid dresses are perfection! I'm in LOVE with her beautiful ring!
Beautiful wedding! I love the grooms boutonniere. Is that flower real? What is it?
The groom's boutonniere is amazing!
This is so amazing... I keep looking at it over and over!! So many little details that add up to SPECTACULAR!!!! I am rushing out to buy the magazine so I will have these photos to look at for a long time!!
Every detail was so meaningful and natural. Beautiful, beautiful colors and style!
the groom's boutonniere is a tapioca wood flower, as are the flowers on the bridesmaid's fans.
Just wondering where the flowers on the bridesmaid dresses are from? love them so much!
Ohh, I just love this ring! Beautiful event too!
Hi,
Very beautiful pictures, especially the last one where both of you were kissing each other.
I am eager to know that from which Wholesale flowers market, you ordered the flowers. They were beautiful.
Love your blog!
I like the color of the flowers she chose for her bouquet and his boutonniere.
Beautiful wedding. I had the pleasure of attending. The attention to detail was amazing.
These two are just as amazing as their wedding!
Beautiful! can i ask where you found the flower girl dress? It's adorable!
The whole wedding is just very romantic! I loved the way the two families were intertwined into the theme and presentation. This couple has special parents!
The wedding was so sunny and airy - the way Robin mixed her vintage veil and necklace with her gown was such an understated touch and very artistic. As a guest I can testify to how delicious the food was and how much everyone enjoyed creating this lifetime memory for Robin and Andrew.
the flowers on the bridesmaids' dresses were made by the mother of the bride. they were silk stems that were cut and glued onto a pin.
This wedding is beautiful! The photography, flowers, and dresses are amazing!
This is a DREAM! I wish I were in Texas now.
I love her necklace! I wonder where it's from?
the paddle fans were from china bazaar. they only had white so we dyed them with tea, then sprayed them with red currant so they'd give off a nice smell when fanned.
did this couple do a 'first look?' it looks like she's walking up behind him as he waits for her. love it!
perfectly incredible- every detail is magical and elegant- this wedding gives the observer a glimpse into the solidarity and excitement of the couple and the love of their families!!!!! sheer joy!!!! and all in perfect harmony - clothing, colors and cupcakes- with flowers and location!!!! WOW
I was lucky enough to attend this wedding. The music was unbelievable. As you arrived at the venue you heard bagpipes, then as the ceremony started strings played 'Here Comes the Sun' by the Beatles. After the French Colonial Chapel bell announced the bride, she entered to "Tupelo Honey" by Van Morrison. Then to top it off they had a quartet play during brunch. They touched every sense at this wedding.
I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful this wedding was in "real life" . I am the groom's mom and know this marriage will be blessed by God. They are a beautiful couple not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well.
I was invited to this wedding and I can very honestly say it was the most outstanding one I have ever attended. Everything was so well thought out and was amazingly beautiful. One I will never forget!

To see these fabulous wedding scenes gives me goose bumps. The feel of sheer happiness touched my heart.
How gorgeous!
They make a beautiful couple, and I couldn’t help but notice how the groom never took his eyes of his bride in every picture!
the bride's sash was part of the casablanca dress.
Absolutely beautiful couple, inside and out! Much love, Noni
Robin is my colleague and friend and oh how lovely it is to have her in my life. She pays such extraordinary attention to detail in everything she does and of course her wedding day was given the same attention. It was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever attended and it warmed my heart.
where did the bride get her veil? i LOVE.
the gown and veil were both from belle saison in austin.
i love the idea of fans for the bridesmaids vs. flowers. the tapioca flowers are unique.
everything looks so fresh and comfortable. looks like the guests were very important to this bride and groom.
