So there are a few things that I am completely obsessed with at the moment and one of these things happens to be lemons used as wedding decor. Absolutely love it, love it, can’t get enough of it. I also can’t get enough of this lovely Texas fete photographed by Ivy Weddings. Of course, my most favorite of citrus fruits happens to be sprinkled through out the festivities but that isn’t the only thing this day is bringing to the table. Our bride, Amanda, found us through a close family friend who we had also photographed. We were excited to be a part of Kris and Amanda’s wedding from the start! They planned a themed wedding with personalized touches throughout the day. Both being southerners at heart, they had a relaxed outdoor celebration in the romantic setting of Casa Blanca on Bushy Creek, just a few minutes outside of Austin, TX.

An icon of summers in Texas is a tall glass of refreshing lemonade, a symbol that was seen throughout this beautiful summer wedding. Amanda and her bridesmaids handmade table settings for guests and lemon centerpieces for the stylish indoor and outdoor tables. Both country and chic, the lemon centered wedding theme was a lovely tribute to the southern charm of the bride and groom.

We enjoyed every moment of Kris and Amanda’s wedding! From their sweet outdoor ceremony to the heartfelt toasts of the evening, southern hospitality and love reigned among family and friends. The joyous celebration was one of the best we’ve seen! We are so happy we were able to be a part of such a lovely day, deep in the heart of Texas.
