Does anyone else care that it is negative 4 in Boston today? Ummm, that should be against the law or something. So, since I am positively freezing, I thought we could warm up a bit with an Austin, Texas wedding that is as delightful and charming as they possibly get. Photographed by Suzi Q, the wedding is this perfect combination of style and handmade charm. And heart it big time.
The wedding was held at The Mansion, a part of the Texas Federation of Women’s Club. Those amazing sweets were made by the bride’s cousin, flowers were designed by another cousin and the hor’dourves were in part made by the bride’s mother! Don’t you love that. It was a true family affair and we were so happy to give you a little peek into the day.

Love it! The Mansion is actually just down the street from where I lived earlier this year in Austin. I'm up on the east coast now, but I miss it so much!
Also love the modern details... so very Austin. Jennifer, those cards look like they were custom made. I would try contacting a graphic designer or even trying to do them yourself. I am also a HUGE fan of the escort cards! So simple, but oozing modern style. I live a few blocks from the Mansion, and it really is such a cool historic venue. Go Austin! ;)

We checked out Texas Women's Federation for our wedding. It's so gorgeous inside and I love that perfect Robin's Egg Blue on the walls with the wood floors. Absolutely beautiful place.

Pink Avacado is catering my wedding in June, and I must say.... their food is AMAZING!! and the presentation can't be beat! We don't have a huge budget, but they were still able to come up with an amazing menu and it looks like we spent WAY more than we did. I highly recommend them!!

There are many things that I like about this wedding. First of all, I find the flower girls' dresses quite adorably beautiful and the bride looks glamorous in her wedding dress,matched with such a heavenly looking flower bouquet, plus, the photos are picture perfect, love the shots! Overall, this is one fabulous wedding!!! Congratulations!!!!!

Hello fellow SMP lovers! I'm actually the bride from this wedding - I found out we were featured and I am still beyond excited :)
I read through all your comments and wanted to answer your questions (I know I appreciated all the help I could get while planning our wedding).
- Flower girl dresses are from Biscotti. Unfortunately, the dress we selected is no longer available. However, they have so many beautiful dresses to choose.
- Bridesmaid dresses are from Jenny Yoo. Every bridesmaid picked a different dress and I got to select the color - everyone looked stunning! The flower photographed on the bridesmaid dress was actually custom made, but I'm sure it can be easily replicated.
-Invitations, escort cards, and all other paper products were, I'm proud to say, designed by me. I must admit I am still blushing from all of your compliments on the escort cards and I would be happy to help anyone design their paper materials. Feel free to email me at casadeporter@gmail.com

Hi, The tall flowers are definitely gladioli (most likely Gladiolus 'Super Star'). They look really simple and elegant and suit the venue well. I also like the white tulips with the blue ribbon, which links in with the venue's wall colour. Very chic!
What would you say is the color of the bridesmaid dresses and the bouquet ribbons? Is it a powder blue? Such a lovely color and a lovely wedding!
Ah what a lovely wedding!! I love, love, love the grown. I too, love the escort cards! The bouquet for both the bride and the bridesmaids and simply gorgeous! Such an inspirational for my wedding.
