I am SO SO SO (say that really loud and throw your hands up in the air with spirit sprinkles) excited about today’s post. Remember Kathleen, our DIY winner who crafted those amazing hot chocolate wedding favors? Well, we’ve asked her to become a contributing DIY editor for Style Me Pretty. And today, she is debuting her first completely adorable project!
Confections by Rich Chocolates
Speaking of chocolate, feast your eyes on these beauties…
Rich Chocolates makes candies that will make you jump for joy, swoon with delight, then fall over from pure exhaustion. They are that good. Think rich, buttery toffee (my own personal favorite), freshly popped caramel corn, chocolate covered animal crackers…yep, I said CHOCOLATE COVERED animal crackers.
These candies have serious charm. They are a mix of old school throwbacks and simple, rich chocolates with a few painted candies thrown in for style. If ever there was a perfect wedding favor, this would be it.

To favor or not to favor…that is always the question! I know that many brides struggle with finding just the right favor to give their guests. Something that reflects your personalities, that is not at all cheesy, that guests will actually keep and appreciate. Well, one of my favorite Little Black Book members, Estilo Weddings has so many beyond perfect options, it’s hard NOT to find the right favor…
We stumbled across Sweet Couture in Houston a few months back and jumped at the chance to add this adorable company to our Little Black Book. Holley Brown crafts the most beautiful candy buffets and custom favors a girl could ever want…chic little set-ups that simply make your guests smile. DIY Project - Hot Cocoa and Mashmallows
Our next DIY project is so ridiculously cute, you are going to die. They were filled with homemade snowflake marshmallows and hot cocoa, then placed lovingly into the guests’ rooms as a sweet treat. So great!
Materials
Heavy Card Stock Labels Muslin Bags Thread / Sewing Machine Corner Punch Tool Cellophane Envelopes Resealable Glue Strips Individual Hot Coco Packets Recipe for Homemade Marshmallows
Instructions:
1. Print pattern onto a card stock and trim to 3.75 x 3″ then round the right side corners with a corner punch tool. (You could use any patterned paper for this project and just mount it to a card stock with spray mount.)

As many of you know, we have a new baby in the Larson house. So, needless to say, I am up at the most random hours feeding her. Last night, while doing just that, I spent some time on A Charleston Bride’s website and got way too excited about some of the weddings that they are featuring in their gallery.
