Bohemian Wedding Details We Love

Bohemian weddings are kind of my jam. Layered with texture, prints and plenty of free-spirited prettiness, no other style quite compares. So today we're rounding up the very, very best. But be warned - one looksy loo through the slideshow, and you may be compelled to scratch everything and layer a whole lot of boho into your own special day. Tee pee included.

We love, love, love the details that make your day YOUR day here at SMP. So when photographer Jules Bianchi offered to let us in on the secrets of which details she always captures, and how she does so, we had to share... Hi pretty bride!  I'm Jules Bianchi, and I document weddings for a living. I heart Style Me Pretty and the endless supply of  bridal fashion and wedding ideas that exist here. I live in California and work with my...

Real Wedding, V

And as the amazing garden party tuned to evening, the entire wedding got even more beautiful...

From Fiona, the lovely bride...

On each table there was a pink wine glass with a small paper butterfly perched on the glass as the name card to again tie in with the garden party style of the day. I had bought lots of pink painted tea glasses from a recent trip to Marrakech (they were so cheap, I think I got them for about 20 pence each (about 40 cents) I think and they...

Now for the details...from the color palette to the perfectly simple touches, everything about this wedding was so lovely, so thoughtfully sophisticated.

From the bride, Fiona...

The pink theme ran through the day – bridesmaids dresses, flowers, ushers ties, wine glasses, pink lemonade, pink champagne, pink ribbon to tie the order of service together, rose petals etc. The favours were small packs of mints that had ‘mint to be’ written on them in pink along with...

Real Wedding by Lisa Vorce, VI

Thank you so much to Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming! and the the team at Docuvitae for sharing today's absolutely gorgeous wedding.

I know that it's way beyond many budgets out there, but look to the style of the day for inspiration. Whether it's the antique silver, white and black palette or the collection of vintage china, there are so many ways to incorporate this...

Real Wedding by Lisa Vorce, V

I am generally smitten with all things Lisa Vorce. And today, she's taken it to a new level. The wedding that we are featuring is pure magic, but it's the photos...oh the photos, that really tell the story. Docuvitae was introduced to me by Lisa and I have to say, their work is absolutely gorgeous.

The black and whites really allow the emotion of the day to shine...

Real Wedding: Debra and Erich, III

What I loved the most about Debra and Erich's wedding was that around every corner was a little surprise. When we arrived at the ceremony, there was a bucket of flip flops for guests to don so they didn't fall on the gravel road leading to the event. We were served pretty cocktails as we waited and were gifted these fun parasols that Debra and her girlfriends had decorated with bright yellow paint!

Kiki let me know that her dress and veil were custom made for her in Hong Kong, as were those beautiful bridesmaid dresses. Although she designed her own cake (WOW), Beaux Gateaux executed it to perfection. And...

Real Wedding by Amanda Kraft, II

Here are a few more details from the oh-so-pretty Amanda Kraft wedding...

From Melissa, the bride...

The theme of the wedding was a shabby-chic garden wedding with ivory and muted greens and blues as the primary colors.  It was very important to match the existing atmosphere of Lauxmont farms, as well as show my own antique, shabby-chic taste.  The ceiling of the rotunda (ceremony site) is green...

A Real Wedding: Heather & Kevin, III

I absolutely adore the chic approachability of this wedding. It just seems so pretty and intimate, filled with perfect little details...

A bit more from Heather...

Wanting our guests to feel as involved as possible, we included a space to fill in a song request on the response cards, then complied the entire playlist based on requests and songs that were special to us. We used our Ipod instead of a DJ, which not only cut costs, but was perfect for a dinner party-style...
