Ooh! Events is just about the most creative company that you will EVER come across. That’s NO exaggeration.They have an amazing storefront where they collaborate, they craft, they teach … they are a floral design team, a rental facility, wedding & event design specialists and as their name implies … are ooh-so-talented event coordinators. Some vendors may say that they can do it all, but at Ooh Events … well, they do!

Nicole and Michael were married at the charming Wickliffe House in Charleston, SC. Lucky for them, Ooh Events was in the neighborhood!

Aren’t the precious little birds on the napkin rings just the cutest? And the dreamy fabric tent … one of Ooh’s specialties.

from Lisa at Ooh Events … Nicole was my pilates instructor and a friend. It was fun to be a part of their wedding … weaving her style into a beautiful southern setting and creating a warm and intimate celebration. It started with the invitation that we created. To invite her friends to be a part of her special day – we sent them perils of wisdom quotes and I made each of them a pearl necklace, and followed up with a pearl necklace for her.

Wedding Centerpieces, VII

I’ve been to so many weddings where the flowers take center stage. And to be honest, it’s pretty great to see gorgeous blooms tucked in every corner, dripping off every detail. BUT, that type of decor isn’t always in the budget, especially these days. So today, we are chatting about centerpieces that are gorgeous, but in just about every example, they are also largely affordable or DIY-able.

One way to really trim your budget is to hop on the teeny-tiny vases trend. Tons of perfect little containers, whether they are clear, white or fabulously colored, filled with small bunches of your favorite stems.

Lisa Thomas of Ooh Events carried the insignia from the invitations over to the custom matchbooks. Such a lovely touch. I also love the chic simplicity of the butter colored linens and the small, but beautifully designed centerpieces. There is a sense of order that really makes a statement here…with each table almost exactly like the one beside it, the entire look really pops.

Today we are featuring the prettiest wedding, designed by the ever talented Lisa Thomas of Ooh Events in Charleston. There is just something magical about Charleston…it’s so effortlessly beautiful. A relaxed but oh-so-chic style. I am kind of obsessed if you can’t tell by all of the Charleston weddings that I post on SMP!

I don’t have a ton of details from this wedding, other than the fabulous photographer was Marni Rothschild. Oh, and this sweet little tidbit…

The invitations were printed from a personally handwritten letter from the bride’s father and we made a custom insignia to make it even more personal. –Michelle of Ooh Events.

So, so lovely.

Today’s wedding is all about easy, breezy beautiful style (can you tell that I watched an America’s Next Top Model marathon this weekend)…complete with different little cabana seating areas, perfectly designed florals and that touch of Southern charm with it’s butter yellow, chocolate and green palette. Lovely.

Lisa of Ooh Events designed this gorgeous affair and her colleague, Michelle, has been sweet enough to share a few details with us…

The reception was at Lowndes Grove, one of the most beautiful venues here in Charleston, South Carolina. Her colors were chocolate, ivory and yellow…….we are all still in love with the three unique lounge areas we created with a mix of vintage, a twist of modern and our Indian fabric tents.

Do you ever wake up on a Monday and try on ten, fifteen outfits…none of which seem quite right? Well, that was me today, only I was trying on weddings to feature! I couldn’t, for the life of me, decide which wedding to put up today, so I spent WAY too long sifting through one style after another…chic, ballroom affairs, quaint outdoor weddings, beautiful beachside fetes. One after another, after another. Until I saw this one.

Sent to me by Michelle over at Ooh Events, this wedding is just about as pretty as they come. Perfection really…

Another beautiful October wedding in Charleston. The ceremony was held The Cotton Dock at Boone Hall one of our favorite venues because you can do ANYTHING you want (like put nails and staples in the walls!). We loved using the vintage cake stands for the Venetian dessert table, as well as charming little touches like the owl and birds. We also carried the vintage style to the tabletop with flowers in vintage apothecary jars. It was all together beautiful.

The wedding was designed and created by Lisa Thomas, the owner of Ooh! Events and the photographer was Heather Forsythe.

Real Wedding: Elizabeth and Ryan

It seems like in the last 2 years, I’ve attended more weddings than I have in my lifetime. Eight of my girlfriends got married and this summer we already have weddings booked for April, May and June. The busy wedding schedule actually fits perfectly with Style Me Pretty, so I have loved every minute of it.

One of the weddings that I am most looking forward to is my oh-so-cute, soon-to-be, sister-in-law’s, who is getting married in Charleston this upcoming April. I’ve never been to Charleston but I have visions of gorgeous old houses, perfect climbing trees and a sweet Southern style. Needless to say, I can’t wait.

Which is, of course, why I LOVE today’s featured wedding at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall in Charleston…the same location that my brother and sister-in-law will be married in a few months! (And the same location of this ridiculously gorgeous wedding that we featured a while back). The event was sent to us by Michelle Mastrion and designed by Lisa Thomas, the fabulous owner of Ooh Events…
