When it comes to nautical affairs, Massachusetts has that old world seaside feel on lock-down. But this particular wedding is a bit different. It's nautical in the prettiest of ways and layered with a few modern details that give it a fresh new feel. Succulents and terrariums mixed with the most beautiful oceanfront yacht club and images by Hannah Persson that are sure to inspire many a beach wedding; east and west coast alike.
"Nautical Wedding"
Seersucker and navy. Stripes and boats. Driftwood hearts and polka dot cakes. Sounds like the makings of a fabulous nautical affair. But what really struck my fancy with this Lake Tahoe wedding was the romantic element added by Merrily Wed. Alongside the boat shoes and the color blocked maids' were parasols and bright blooms from Bellissima Floral. Both the bride and the groom...
This West Palm Beach wedding was so chic I was blown away in a display of gorgeous images from Jonathan Connolly Photography. The soiree, planned with buckets full of love by the bride and her mother, was everything dreams are made of. A sweet ambiance, a beautiful bride, and details so sweet, there is a slight danger of a toothache. When I read that the entire wedding was almost blown away, literally, I couldn't believe it.
If you can't tell just by looking how happy, calm, and fabulous this bride is (facing Hurricane Irene's threats to ruin her wedding day) I will simply have to tell you how amazing she is. See those macarons? Those mouthwatering, stomach-grumbling, delish macarons? She made them (and the flowers on that cake!). And then loved and partied the night away at her gorgeous soiree, planned by Blissful Beginnings Wedding & Events.
Oh Robert & Kathleen Photographers, we love the way you KNOW your way around a camera. And we just can't help but swoon over every image you send us. And when said images are taken at a beyond stylish Connecticut shoreline wedding, we. die. The day was fantastic, as were the moments captured by Robert & Kathleen. We couldn't help but fall for this adorable couple, so I'm warning you -...
The bride is from the Midwest, the groom is from Israel, and the wedding is a superb product of a love for Maine. With help from Maine Seasons Events, the couple took inspiration from the relaxed Israeli wedding customs and infused it with nautical charm that makes us all Ahoy with glee. Every detail, as seen by Meredith Perdue, is perfect.
Really, who doesn't love a nautical wedding? Especially when a couple infuses their own personality all over the day. This New Jersey Shore affair has the required navy blue deets, but the fun couple made sure to be present all over the place by inserting pops of bright color everywhere - in sunglasses, shoes, and flowers from MDS Floral Designs. Ann Coen Photography loaded...
We have all gone BANANAS over this new take on a nautical wedding. Seen through the lens of Jonathan Hanson for Readyluck, we're loving the classic wedding mixed with the perfect blend of seafaring deets to make it more than worthy of it's waterside locale. Something totally new for this water-loving blogger to obsess over.
You're hearing it here first: Maine is THE place to have the most amazing nautical wedding. And Maine Seasons Events does a fabulous job designing them. We've seen so many great fêtes from the company (like this peachy keen soiree or this...
We might be in the thick of winter, but this Connecticut shoreline soiree by Carla Ten Eyck has me day dreaming of those long summer days and warm summer nights. This absolutely darling couple enjoyed the prettiest of summer nights for their big day thanks to a lineup of rockstar vendors including Jubilee Events, ...
