The bride sitting on the floor between all her lovely maids (above) was featured here in a fabulous wedding sent to us by LBB members Lyndsey Hamilton and Christian Oth.

And of course this bride (last photo above) was from featured photographer Kate Triano this week on Style Me Pretty.

The wedding in the second row (above) wasn’t featured on Style Me Pretty … but is a totally beautiful wedding shot at The Foundry in Long Island City NY. You can see more of Diana and Osman’s wedding on LBB photographer, Karen Wise’s blog.

The images of the bride in the first row above (right) and the last row was sent to us by our great friends and LBB members, Bill and Anne of Holland Photo Arts. Tessie & Matt’s wedding had so many special details! To see it, take a look at Abby’s FACEBOOK page, Bill & Anne’s blog … or a really good slideshow from their wedding. Tessie and Matt own a blacksmithing shop in Charleston, West Virginia ~ Wallace Metal Works. They designed and hand-made many items that they used in their own wedding. How cool is that! The flowers for this wedding were done by one of my favorite designers, Matthew Robbins at Artfool. His sense of style is unmatched, really…with each design complimenting the whole to perfection. The catering was done by Thyme and Again and if it taste as good as Jake made it look…well, it must have been exquisite. Just wait until you see the absolutely gorgeous reception that Lyndsey designed. It’s FLAWLESS.

From Lyndsey….

The wedding was to be outdoor and tented.  We planned to use the various barns and structures located on the property for cocktail hour and also incorporate them as a unique element for the flow of the wedding.  Their ceremony was held at St. Luke’s church, directly next to Mulford Farm.  Guests then walked from the ceremony into beautiful gardens and passed thru an antique turnstile to Mulford Farm.

Kaitlin wanted a causal wedding and chose gorgeous silk skirts in varying bright colors for the bridesmaids.  Each bridesmaid wore her own white shirt.  We incorporated the bright colors of the bridesmaid skirts in the floral decor and linens for cocktail hour.

That beautiful dress that the bride is wearing is a Monique Lhuillier and the vintage lace overlay, well…it’s perfection. There is something really sweet and timid about this wedding. Perhaps it is the understated elegance of the day or the  oh-so-pretty bride. Maybe it’s the fresh from the garden style of flowers. Whatever it is, it’s just beautiful.

Kaitlin & Will had chosen East Hampton as their wedding location when they were living in Hong Kong.  Kaitlin had spent summers in the Hamptons as a child, and her family owned a home directly across the street from Mulford Farm. Because there had never been a wedding held at Mulford Farm, which is maintained by the East Hampton Historical Society, Kaitlin knew that she needed to hire a planner to orchestrate the details and logistics–that was when she hired us!  We began planning the wedding in January for the following September.

Take a look at Ashley & Rob’s …

Ashley and Rob’s wedding, at the beautiful Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, was orchestrated by Lyndsey Hamilton Events. Their wedding represents another gold mine of Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book members:  Aaron Delesie (photography), Mindy Rice (floral design), Riley Towne Productions (videography), and Lyndsey Hamilton Events.

from Mindy … I just LOVED Ashley and her mother, Cam. Ashley was into “details” and “texture”.  Working in Santa Barbara ,and near the coast, she wanted to incorporate local textures and foliage, yet keep it simple with the subtle shifts of white and cream. We made her table cloths in a graphite color that Ashley loved from the beginning! She loved the simple silhouette of the manzanita, yet wanted to add the feminine touch of fresh, garden roses, Hydrangea, Freesia, tulips, succulents, and various steel colored grasses. Platinum vessels in a variety of sizes and shapes held the floral on a variety of square, round and rectangular tables.

from Lyndsey …  We loved producing this wedding! Bacara is such a breathtaking venue and everyone there is so amazing to work with.  The bride lives in New York and wanted a “Hamptons-themed wedding in Santa Barbara.”   So, having planned many weddings in the Hamptons, we knew exactly what she meant.  As the bride works for Martha Stewart Living Magazine, she had a clear and distinct style for the wedding and it was wonderful incorporating her vision.  The ceremony overlooked the ocean and was breathtaking.  Working with the fabulous Mindy Rice, we flanked two tall block arrangements with branches and hydrangea to serve as the stage for the ceremony, with a blanket of white flower petals.  Guests then enjoyed cocktails outdoors, where we placed tall tables scattered with candles and succulents.  For the decor in the ballroom, we used a combination of white and green flowers, and chose tables with various sizes and shapes.  We selected multiple shades of grey linens to create a distinct aesthetic at each table.  Hydrangea and tulips were the prominent flowers, again incorporating the Hamptons theme.

After the reception, we  converted a portion of the ballroom into a lounge where we brought in furniture, lighting, and a DJ for an after-party, to create an entirely different vibe from the reception, while guests danced and snacked on mini-burgers, fries, and other small plates.

If you’re a long-time Style Me Pretty fan, you know we LOVE Aaron’s work: Way back in November 2007 … we featured a Maui wedding with vibrant orchids and a brilliant orange, pink and green color palette.
