We're going to switch things around a bit this morning and START with a note from today's DIY bride, Melissa. Give you a little heads-up to what you're in store for ~ My friends and I cut out over three hundred fabric napkins and my mom made our ring pillow out of felt wool and antique lace. Brett cut all the stumps for the children's table, cake stand and boutonniere holder. My MOH and I made all of the boutonnieres from found objects from many places. Most of the decorative items... This wedding, photographed by Jessamyn Harris, was simply lovely. The bride and groom infused so many elements that reflected their own personalities and gave their guests a window into their lives. From the brass band that the couple hired to celebrate the bride's New Orleans roots, to the cheese station catered by the AMAZING Cow Girl Creamery...the wedding was ALL about the pair.
