And now… we have the pleasure of sharing with you the winner of Monday’s Inspiration to Reality Challenge…Congratulations Sticky! This completely amazing, completely chic board, appropriately named “ampearsand” caught the eye of our vendors and they just couldn’t resist its colorful, whimsical charm. Yay! I’m in love with the “Love” banner with the pink flower garland. We’re getting married on my parents farm up in a field of wild flowers by the apple orchards. We’ll be having a yellow and pink lemonade stand and an old yellow antique car up at the ceremony site (complete with those giagantic balloons, of course!)…these banners would go perfectly with the vintage car and is the lovely little finishing detail for a fun-whimsical theamed wedding! Adorable

So if you thought this day couldn’t possibly get any better…WRONG. We managed to get our grubby little hands on the Super 8 Film vignette that the unbelievably talented Kevin Von Qualen shot for the couple. And it’s total perfection.

Thank you so very much to the wonderfully talented James Christianson for sending us today’s affair. It was a lesson in all things gorgeous, so beautiful that it’s almost hard to believe it’s real. You’ve left us all wishing we were getting married in Aspen and we all could hire you to shoot the day! And to Kevin Von Qualen…your film is magical. Thank you so much for bringing it to life for all of us.

Ok, on to better and brighter things…like this ridiculously gorgeous wedding that the fabulous James Christianson photographed out in Aspen, Colorado. If you didn’t already fall in love with the chic style, the undeniable elegance, the pure magic of the day…you will with this next set of photographs!

A few other vendors helped to make this day so gorgeous and I wanted to make sure that they got a hearty shout out, as well. The Wedding Planner behind the affair was Denis Latousek of DL events, catering by The Little Nell and Super 8 Cinematography by Kevin Vol Qualen. Between this team and James Christianson, it was a pretty talented crew of vendors so it’s no suprise that they helped to build a day that is all together gorgeous.

I mean, come on. How perfect is all of this? The bride is spectacular, the view is spectacular. The everything is pretty spectacular. And James’s photographs really capture the spirit of Aspen, with a vivid, completely vibrant style that is so refreshing.

Katherine and Grant were married in November at the Beaver Creek Chapel in Avon, Colorado. Their reception was held at the Timber Hearth Grille in Cordillera, above Beaver Creek. I suppose when you plan a November wedding in Colorado you might expect snow, but this is just breathtaking. Looking at these photographs, it’s hard to believe Katherine was even chilly! {She found the vintage stole at a thrift shop.}

And what winter party would be truly complete without s’mores …

How bright and alive are these colors?

Sarah and Joe were married at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This ranch (slash) resort has rustic “upscale” cabins, a lodge, spa, fine dining, all kinds of outdoor activities … talk about being able to fill the weekend with fun … it looks like the perfect spot for a long weekend wedding that will leave your guests grinning from ear to ear!

What about those log benches?  And the hanging vases, so simple, but so striking (close-ups in the first photo set).

According to their website, Devil’s Thumb Ranch is 5000 acres of year-round Rocky Mountain bliss … 65 miles west of Denver.
