This wedding is all together easy on the eyes. And I really mean that…it’s so easy to fall in love with, so easy to see the beauty behind the day, so easy to just relax and let the prettiness unfold. Sent to us by the wonderfully talented Corbin Curkin, the wedding was held in Italy and was inspired by the brides love of all things wedding!

From the bride..

“We had all four seasons in one day!” Yes, it’s true, it absolutely poured down rain from the moment we drove to the reception well into the dinner hour but the group just grabbed umbrellas and Anna was determined to get beautiful photos around the villa whether or not she had to hike around in a bit of mud….those poor Manolos!

So many lovely details… among them, the beautiful invitations designed by Little Black Book member, Bella Figura.

Tuscan Wedding by Aaron Delesie

So, the last wedding that Aaron blogged about was Tuscan Inspired…in Southern California. This one is Tuscan Inspired…in Tuscany! And the photographs will make you drool. There really are no words.

Obviously, there is something blissfully romantic about the thought of getting married in Italy. The food, the wine, the rolling vineyards. It’s just a little piece of heaven.

From Aaron…The pink building above is the Villa La Masa and it is one of the most beautiful Villas in Florence. It is where the bride got ready before we all headed out to the castle in the country. These photos are just here to inspire a feeling. I shot them awhile ago but they are close to my heart!

AMAZING. Feeling butterflies just thinking about what an incredible experience it would be to tie the knot in Italy. Such a beautiful story to tell your children. Thank you so very much to Aaron Delesie for taking the time to guest blog for us today. If you are new to SMP and aren’t familiar with Aaron’s work…it’s pure perfection. Real Wedding: Anna & Jeremy’s Italian Countryside Wedding

Anna and Jeremy were married on September 12, 2008 in Tuscany. The flower combinations they chose just scream happy!

During her year of wedding planning, Anna was an avid Style Me Pretty fan. She wondered if we might share a few of the photos of this very special day with you. Absolutely, Anna … your wedding is definitely a day to be so proud of! Photography by Little Black Book member Corbin Gurkin.

DIY Project – Cupcake Tier

This next project was so unexpected, I just had to share…a Map-Inspired Cupcake Tier! Plus, you can use these instructions, substituting the map paper for just about any paper, and still have an absolutely adorable way to present your cupcakes.

Materials

Cupcake Tower
Large Sheets of Decorative Paper or Wrapping Paper
Craft Acrylic Paint
Decorative Ribbon

Instructions

1. Either make or buy a standard cupcake tower. I bought a basic cardboard frame.

2. Cover with paper. My fiance is Italian, so I found some wrapping paper with maps of Italy on it. I just used the tiers as stencils, then cut them and glued the paper onto the tiers.

3. I painted the levels between the tiers black with craft acrylic paint.

4. Cover edges with ribbon. I found some trim at Hobby Lobby and used a hot glue gun.
