Abby and Zach were married at Piazza In The Village. This chapel is totally amazing!

Don’t forget, you can see the entire photo gallery from this post in the SMP photo gallery.

Zach is a VP for a line of gorgeous men’s attire ~ D Jones Tailored Collection. So in addition to some pretty snazzy guys, some fantastic maids, Abby’s love of purple and the ever-popular peacock feathers, the palette was borne!

If you’ll take a look throughout this post, you’ll see that Abby opted for several looks! She found a super-cute bolero on from Bonzie Designs on Etsy to wear for their first look before the ceremony, donned a birdcage veil for the ceremony, removed it to reveal the gorgeous silk flower in her hair, and then changed it up a bit during the reception!  Gone are the days of hair up vs. hair down!

And her gown? Great story! She found it online at a resale site, flew to California to try it on and voilá!

After a stunning reception they departed for their honeymoon!

And this is where the Stacy Reeves story gets even better.  Abby and Zach asked Stacy to accompany them for a ‘day-after-shoot’. Not just any day-after-shoot, though … they asked her to accompany them on their honeymoon to Europe.

We wandered around the Louvre, the Tuileries Palace, the Champ de Mars, and finally finished up our photo spree at the Eiffel Tower.

There’s an Italian tradition where lovers write their initials on locks, lock them to bridges or fences in their city, and toss the keys into the river. Abby and Zach had given heart-shaped locks to their wedding guests as souvenirs. They also brought their own locks with them to each city they visited on their honeymoon. They tossed their keys into the canal in Venice.

Pretty darned romantic. Lots more photos from this fantastic European-day-after-shoot on Stacy’s site {here}!!

However ……… the story doesn’t even end here.

Abby and Zach were in cahoots with Stacy’s boyfriend. The night they were shooting at the Eiffel tower … he had a little something up his sleeve …

ohhhhhhh! soooooooo perfect!

What’s a better way to say Congratulations????  Yay!!!!!!

But now we’re going to fast-forward to another so-cool photo op … a honeymoon shoot! How great would that be!

Joe Cogliandro, another of our amazing Little Black Book photographers asked us if we’d be interested in the idea … and we jumped at the chance. His photos are to die for!

On Joe’s blog, he said that these “for him” shots gives the groom a chance (if he wants) for some hands-on help posing “her” as he would like

A bit about J. Cogliandro Photography … Joe is based in Houston but is an avid destination photographer.  It was while studying overseas, that his love for people and culture developed. His creative vision results in images that powerfully capture the genuine emotion and excitement of the wedding day. His comfortable and unstressed manner allows for people to feel relaxed and real, drawing out the character and personality of those he is photographing.  On his website he says that before you think you can’t afford him, give him a call!

If I had another wedding to plan … I know I would!

For those of you that still aren’t feeling the African Honeymoon, the company also offers an innovative program called Travel Matters, an online travel philanthropy program, allowing eco-savvy brides and grooms to donate to a non-profit in the country they are visiting, whether or not they are traveling with ED. Brilliant.
