Napa Valley Wedding from Angie Silvy Photography + Julie Stevens Design

April 10th. 2012 by Mallory | 7 comments

I'm sure all you brides and grooms to be know about our Little Black Book. It's a crazy good club for all our fave wedding pros - you'd be insane not to be taking advantage of that resource. This bride was the opposite of insane, unless you count her insanely gorgeous style. She scooped up a bunch of our LBBers for her Napa wedding, including... [MORE]

The Mansion at Natirar Wedding from Images by Berit, Inc.

April 9th. 2012 by Mallory | 11 comments

As soon as this beautiful bride said yes to her handsome soon-to-be hubby, they toyed with the idea of going away to the Caribbean to marry in the sand - a prospect that tempts us all at some point or another, I'd say. But ultimately deciding to stay home so ALL their nearest and dearest could be at their lovely day lead to one of the most amazing designs I've seen in a classical East Coast wedding. Tropical decor. The day, as seen by... [MORE]

Charlottesville Wedding from Jen Fariello Photography + Beehive Events

April 4th. 2012 by Mallory | 15 comments

There is something so perfect about the size of the bridal party in this wedding. I'm usually one for just a few attendants, but when the ladies are pretty in cowboy boots, the flower girls sweet in white cotton, and the men dashing in their formalwear, I can't help but smile. I can't quite put my finger on why it feels so intimate, but I can put my fingers all over the charm factor, courtesy of Beehive Events. I love it. [MORE]

You know Frank Sinatra's Just The Way You Look Tonight? This wedding has had me humming that song over and over since I first laid eyes on it's pretty factor. It's lovely. From the smiles so warm to the cheeks so soft, everything is just lovely. 2Chic Events & Design were the talented team behind the planning and design, and teamed up with True Love Photo... [MORE]

Rustic Chic Dickerson, Maryland Wedding from Readyluck

March 30th. 2012 by Mallory | 17 comments

Judging by the pretty levels (off the chart) of this wedding, we were not surprised to hear this bride spent much of her engaged days on SMP, scouring for inspiration - but we were tickled pink! Her wedding was stylish and chic, personal and fun - the perfect SMP soiree, captured fabulously by some of our faves - Lindsay & Jacqueline of Readyluck. I'm heading straight into the gallery for a really gorgeous finish to my week -... [MORE]

San Francisco City Hall Indian Wedding from Kim and Niki, Photographers

March 30th. 2012 by Mallory | 14 comments

Give me a vibrant wedding with Bollywood dancing any day and I'll shake my little, no-rhythm, Indian Wedding-loving boo-tay. Especially if said soiree takes place in a locale so grandeur and iconic, like the San Francisco City Hall. Kim and Niki, Photographers, I NEED to thank you ladies for not just perfectly capturing the energy and love of this special couple, but sending it our way so we can all gush over... [MORE]

Durham Ranch Wedding by Meg Smith Photography

March 29th. 2012 by Abby Larson | 41 comments

Durham Ranch is one of my all time favorite wedding venues. It's so me. Or at least the "so me" that lives in my very chic imagination. So when you add a bride and groom that are positively glowing, a design by Kathleen Deery and planner Laurie Arons that mimics the modern... [MORE]

King Family Vineyards Wedding from Jen Fariello + Pat’s Floral Designs

March 28th. 2012 by Mallory | 15 comments

A rogue dog couldn't help but admire this wedding up close, and we don't blame him. We've been giddily pouring over image after pretty image from Jen Fariello and have come to the conclusion that this day, featuring the floral design of Pat's Floral Designs, is unbelievably beautiful. The perfect sunlight over the gorgeous vineyards, the stunning couple, the great fall decor. [MORE]

Lake Minnetonka Wedding from Flora Bella + Paul Vincent

March 26th. 2012 by Mallory | 15 comments

An adorable flower girl, pretty in pink 'maids, luscious flowers from Flora Bella, Cotton Candy. This wedding has it all, and then some. It has a beautiful couple, so sweetly in love, at the center. It has a DIY candy buffet. And it has charm in every adorably doily-covered corner. Paul Vincent has perfectly captured every one of those sweet corners and graciously put them... [MORE]

Flint Hill Mansion Wedding from Artstar by Laura Stone

March 26th. 2012 by Mallory | 6 comments

Friday, we shared their engagement session, and today we open up the week (which I'm excited to say is filled with stunning soirees around every corner) with this stylish couple's wedding. They are the kind of couple that can have a beautiful, completely chic, stunning wedding with very little effort - because they are just that cool. Cool enough for ... [MORE]

Here at SMP, we have a list a mile long of different wedding styles we LOVE. Today we are definitely going to have to add Sweet Girly Romance to that list, because this Texas soiree has Sweet Girly Romance pouring out of every image from Krystle Akin Photography. Sweet Girly Romance in the broach bouquet, Sweet Girly Romance in the blushing bride, Sweet Girly Romance in the red, pink and purple decor. [MORE]

Vermont Barn Wedding from The Painted Tulip + Brent Harrewyn

March 16th. 2012 by Mallory | 1 comment

With the trees budding and blooming all around me, and the sweet smell of lilacs drifting through my window, I could not have found a more perfect soiree, filled with the most amazing light, and of course, the most beautiful flowers from The Painted Tulip, to celebrate this perfect Spring day. Brent Harrewyn Photography was able to capture the day in a way that makes us all... [MORE]

Garden Vineyards Wedding from Bridal Bliss + Deyla Huss Photography

March 16th. 2012 by Mallory | 10 comments

What is it about sunflowers that make the whole room get a little brighter, a little warmer, and a little happier? We're not completely sure what it is, but whatever it is, we are sold. Adding sunflowers to this sunny Portland affair, planned by Bridal Bliss, was hands down the best choice the couple and Punch Portland could have made. It created an air of relaxed elegance that... Angus Barn Wedding from A Southern Soiree + Robin Lin Photography

March 9th. 2012 by Mallory | 6 comments

The bride in the spotlight of this North Carolina wedding describes her day as "fancy rustic" but we have so many more adjectives to add to that. Pretty, charming, stunning, romantic, soft, and gorgeous to name a few. We fell in love with this soiree, planned and designed by A Southern Soiree, the second we saw the hearts on her shoes and the smile on that flower girl. [MORE]
