From Mandy of Mandy and Me Studio… Erica + Mike + 200 vases = one heck of a wedding that not even the rain could stop from being awesome. As it is with every wedding, we always like to monitor the weather so we are prepared. We knew there was a high chance of rain during this wedding but we were determined to make it work. We were pleasantly surprised to find out Erica and Mike were just as determined to make it work as we were. So the dress got a little dirty? So what? A couple drops of rain on the awesome suit? Nothing dry cleaning can’t fix, and all worth it to get some awesome pictures. It was a heart warming experience for us, and we are just glad things fell in place to make their special day a memorable one.

There were 200 different vintage vases at this wedding that the bride and groom had been hunting down prior to their wedding. They had the cutest little cake topper. Erica is a gifted artist and made many of her wedding details herself.

The top photos are clusters of wooden bowls, all of which can be found either at Pearl River (large and medium) or Crate and Barrel.

The second row, left photo, shows various shapes and sizes of round white vases, all from Pearl River or Black Bamboo. The photo on the right, which I LOVE, features bowls of floating dahlias and hydrangea florets. So romantic and elegant. The bowls were found at Crate and Barrel.

The great fabric wrapped vases in the bottom left are such a chic way of adding pattern to your tablescape. The vases were purchased from Planter Resource and the fabric was found at Classic Revivals and Galbraith & Paul.

The photo on the bottom left is a great look at the wide variety of containers you can use to create a clustered centerpiece. The white ceramic vases are from KleinReid. The bright green vases are from Global Table. The tall, white ceramic vases were purchased at Room & Board AND Tozai Home. The cute little glazed planters are from Jamali Garden Supplies. Tea vases are flea market finds. Glass bowls and vases from Crate and Barrel and Aero. The Mint Julep Cups are from Jamali Garden Supplies.

Far and away the BEST resource that is listed above for inexpensive, but really beautiful vases is Jamalie Garden Supplies. Spend some time browsing the various categories and you will most definitely find the perfect centerpiece container.
