Ahhhh. I am still reeling from yesterday's From Inspiration to Wedding feature. Of course because it was one of my besties tying the knot, but also because going through all of the photographs again, brought it all back...the crazy, crazy adventure and the insane amount of fun Sarah True and I had bringing Libby and Patrick's dream wedding to life. So, since you've already feasted on all of the behind the scenes goodness, we...
"Best of 2010"
Libby and Patrick's wedding story is one of those that will go down in SMP history. From the amazing designers that took part in the day to the flooding that nearly stopped all of our plans from happening...it's a story that I'm sure Libby and Patrick will be telling their grandkids. So I'm kind of thanking my lucky stars that Julie Hill, the INSANELY talented cinematographer behind Elysium, was there to document it all on film.
There is so much that I want to tell you about this wedding...about how even though not everything turned out exactly as we envisioned, it was still complete perfection. About how we had to let ideas go to the wayside, we had to comprise, we had to think really creatively...and yet it all still turned out beautiful. But you know what, there is no better way to tell the story than with the photographs that...
Now for the REALLY good stuff. I've probably looked at these images a thousand times. And every time I do, I see something new. Something great. This is the wedding of Libby and Patrick. The wedding that Sarah True designed and styled, that we spent hours and hours on the phone dreaming about, that we built with love for two very special people. And despite the fact that we were literally faced against a...
I am very rarely speechless when it comes to weddings. Sure, I swoon, obsess and generally go crazy about once a week over some fabulous something that comes into our inbox. But I am rarely speechless. This wedding has left me just that - speechless - so instead of trying to come up with an introduction that would do Aaron Delesie's wedding justice, I'll just quote our sweet Elaine when she saw this little gem..."holy freaking cow...
You guys might want to sit down for this next wedding. It's one of those weddings that you will look at over and over and over, hardly believing that it's real. I know, it's almost cruel to share a wedding THIS gorgeous, but I honestly couldn't help myself. And when you see the photographs that Aaron Delesie snapped...you'll understand why. Aaron is not only a good friend of ours, he is also one of the most talented, thoughtful...
We've already covered the fact that the wedding dress and the fabulous shoes in today's featured affair are both enough to make me cry but what we haven't covered is that the wedding style...from the flowers that Sharla Flock crafted, to the details that Jenne Hohn infused and the INSANELY gorgeous photographs that Rebecca at...
Dear Wedding Gods, please send me the amazing dress below so that I can wear it every day of my life. And if you could throw in the shoes, that would be awesome. And Dear Rebecca at Docuvitae Photography, weddings like these are really making me want to get married all over again and my husband seems to be getting a little nervous. Really nervous actually as it seems that I have gasped out loud more than once while putting this wedding...
First of all, let me start by saying, I love this wedding in a big way no matter the venue, but when I found out it was in a parking garage, I literally almost fell out of my chair. It is the PERFECT example of how just a bit of creativity can transform the most unlikely sites into someone's dream. Lacey shares more below as to how the location came to be, but first let's just revel in the glorious details caught in action by the too talented for words, Hannah Bergman, of...
Today is all about Aaron on SMP. Aaron Delesie, one of our all time favorite photographers and the talent behind some of our all time favorite weddings. And although I am about to reveal my own dirty little secret (reality TV people...get your mind out of the gutter), it's so worth it. Yep. We just got word that Aaron was named the official wedding photographer for...wait for it....THE BACHELOR WEDDING! When I found out, I screamed so...
