Waldenwoods Wedding from The Gown Shop + a girl in love photography

January 16th. 2012 by Mallory | 11 comments

I'm about to let you in on a little secret. For years and years before I even met my husband, I wanted to get married at Waldenwoods. With it's big private lake, old panelled ballroom, and amazing grounds, it was the perfect place to get married - and SO beautiful. But even I could not have imagined how gorgeous it could look with the right wedding. This wedding. The gorgeous green apple palette. The beautiful bride in her... [MORE]

The Real River Company Wedding by Ben Yew Photography

Welcome to Style Me Pretty Australia, lovelies!  It's a beautiful day for an Australian wedding, don't you think?  These lovely Donnybrook nuptials by Ben Yew Photography are overflowing with so much gorgeousness, I just moved them to the top of my favorites list.  With a ceremony held in an apple orchard and mason jars lining the aisles, what's not to completely adore?  Oh, and then there's the uber-sweet seating chart, the picnic... Adirondack Wedding by Andy Duback

Not to get ahead of the summer weather we are FINALLY enjoying here in New England, but I seriously love fall fêtes. There is inspiration to pull from everywhere, and this Adirondack wedding by Andy Duback pulled prettiness from all of my fall favorites - apples, barns, and the beautiful, crisp fall colors. On top of all of that - the couple requested all the ladies attending this festive fall occasion wear hats to recognize the... [MORE]

Wachusett Mountain Wedding from Pineapple Productions

May 19th. 2011 by Mallory | 3 comments

When Dorothy sang of that magical place over the rainbow, it is very possible she was referring to this very wedding. Every last detail of this Massachusetts wedding was magical, right down the to the actual rainbow that hung above the bride's family's farm at the end of the evening. Now THAT is some pretty serious wedding planning. Pineapple Productions, a team of some of our favorite wedding planners, completely outdid themselves... [MORE]

Modern DIY Wedding in New York

Rather than blab on and on about this wedding, I want to just dive right in. But I did want to quickly mention that one...it's indoors (finally) and two...it's modern and DIY. And really freaking gorgeous. Oh and the bride has been sweet enough to share all of the behind the scenes details so grab a cup of coffee and have a seat. This is a really good one. Luis and I had a singular focus on making our wedding modern, fun, and festive. We didn't want just a wedding like everyone... [MORE]

Holiday DIY: Chocolate and Caramel Covered Apples

So. Running a pretty successful wedding blog definitely has its perks. Aside from just being a really cool job (and getting to work in my PJ's) we also happen to get really great little gifts right around the holidays. It's actually kind of awesome, although many of them are making me quite fat. In a good way. So, one of those treats that we loved the most were these incredible Chocolate and Caramel Covered Apples that Jessica over at... [MORE]

Traditional Ceremony + Contemporary Reception = Traditional Chic

August 28th. 2009 by Eddye | 22 comments

So, what do you call a wedding style that starts off with a classic chapel wedding and is followed by a chic celebration at a contemporary art gallery? Really, it's a question we'd like some input on! If "vintage chic" is a style and "traditional elegance" is a style, would you call this "traditional chic" ? Some help, please! We need a good category for this style of wedding, because seriously, it's very popular and deserves a classy name! Moving along  .... to today's featured... [MORE]
