It goes without saying that we LOVE us some Amy Atlas. Like girl crush love. She's a styling pioneer and the reason why dessert tables look even more delicious these days. And just when we think she has hit the highest of high notes in beautiful design, she sends us a shoot like this. A beautiful, almost too pretty to eat (but that wouldn't stop us), makes us want to high five each other (if we did that sort of thing) - type of a shoot.

Before we begin today's post, I wanted to take a minute to send out a prayer to all of those in Houston who were hit by Hurricane Ike over the weekend. I grew up in Clear Lake, Texas where many of the reporters were stationed.
