Allyson Magda always sends us such delightful weddings! Cori and Sean’s wine country wedding is chic and modern, but frilly and girly enough to charm the knickers off of any potential bride!

Corie and Sean’s Paso Robles wine country wedding was nothing short of just about perfect! Despite the HUGE hick-up of their venue filing bankruptcy months before their big day, we all learned the importance of wedding insurance and a creative coordinator!

Corie and guests rented out the entire Hotel Cheval in downtown Paso Robles, for the getting ready and wedding night suite. It made for a perfect backdrop for the the pre-ceremony portraits, and a perfect central meeting spot for guests and the bridal party, as it’s located in the downtown, walking distance to world class restaurants, tasting rooms and shopping!

Their nuptials took place at the lovely Villa de Buena Vista in Paso Robles, CA. Overlooking the gorgeous vineyards Corie and Sean tied the knot. With their love sealed with a kiss and a party waiting to happen, they and their guests enjoyed the celebration until the moon came up!

They celebrated their wedding vows with a honeymoon in Paris – ohhh, how lovely!!!!

Allyson Magda’s Word Of The Year

We just featured a few images from Allyson Magda’s engagement shoot with Julianne & Drew at Santa Margarita Ranch. While I was looking at her blog post on the shoot, I saw another post that got my interest. It’s about how she chooses a “word” each year that is significant in her life and in her work.

From Allyson’s blog …
Each year I pick a word. It’s a word that I want to implement more into my own little wonderland. It’s always interesting how it works it’s way out in my life ~ throughout the year. One that keeps popping up for 2010 is AUTHENTICITY. I can’t help but think that it’s because it’s pretty important to be authentic in life, but also because I want my work to reveal the authenticity of people’s lives and relationships.

And then she asks, “I wonder how many people choose a word each year, I encourage you to do so….if you do, will you share it?”

For Allyson, and for all of us at Style Me Pretty, what would your “word of the year” be?

Fall Inspired Wedding by Allyson Magda, III

I love this wedding that Allyson Magda sent our way. It’s the perfect way to ring in that crisp Fall weather that is coming our way and get all of you Fall brides out there a little bit excited about your own affairs. It’s cozy, it’s intimate, it’s utterly delicious and I am thrilled to have been the one to share it with you!

I’ve been drooling over these photographs all morning and am actually going to take a little break to make some Apple Cider because I’m now in that kind of mood. The wedding is simply gorgeous, and just when I thought it couldn’t get any better….I saw the favors. Little bear honey jars. Umm, adorable!?!?

There is something so incredibly cozy about Fall inspired weddings. You can do so much from a design perspective…from cozy pashminas for your guests, to s’mores and hot apple cider. It’s just one of those styles that can be infused with so many great details, so many beautiful touches. And this wedding that Allyson Magda sent us…well, it didn’t disappoint!

I am MADLY in love with the flowers from this affair. The bridesmaids and bridal bouquets are enough to send me clear over the edge. Designed by Corinne Smith of Panacea in San Luis Obispo, they are gorgeousness defined. And the dog…does it get any better?

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know that I grumble a lot about the Summer coming to an end, but in all honesty…Fall is one of my favorite things about living in Boston. And although this wedding didn’t take place in the city, it does have all of the elements of Fall that I have fallen completely in love with. Photographed by Allyson Magda, this wedding is total yumminess.

The bride wore an incredible Carolina Hererra gown and the maids rocked it out in denim dresses. So cute. There is so much goodness coming up from this wedding, you’ll most definitely find tons of inspiration tucked within. Back in a bit!

Whimsical Winery Affair by Allyson Magda, III

If you are just now joining us, you are going to really love this wedding. Allyson Magda, one of our favorite photographers, sent us the affair as she knew that we would fall hard for the sweet, whimsical style in such a gorgeous venue. The flowers were all crafted by Flowers by Denise…

Here are a few more behind the scenes details from Allyson…

Stephanie and Rob choose to see each other before the ceremony and exchange gifts….they nearly gave each other the same thing! Apparently their first date was the to see a play “Harold and Maude” – based on the original move. When Stephanie opened her gift she turned beat red and started to laugh – he gave her the tickets and program framed – she gave him – a poster signed by cast members! How appropriate – as they are both in the film industry!

Whimsical Winery Affair by Allyson Magda, II

There is something about this wedding that makes me so happy. It’s a little bit Summer, a little bit Fall…it’s touches of winery inspired elegance and a fun whimsical personality. It’s a reflection of life in the very best way. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Photographed by Allyson Magda…it’s definitely a new favorite.

And I have to say, it’s the photographs that have left me feeling inspired beyond belief. Allyson is always sending us the most gorgeous weddings, but I think that with this one, she’s outdone herself!

Whimsical Winery Affair by Allyson Magda

Okay, we’ve been a little bit crazy here at SMP today…we put up, took down, put up, then took down again a wedding that I am sure you guys fell in love with if you had a chance to see. But, not to worry, the full affair will be back up next week, we just needed a few tweaks on the pictures.

But, we have THE most spectacular wedding you’ve ever seen today so your wedding eye candy addiction will most definitely be fulfilled. Shot by Allyson Magda, who we loooove here on SMP, this wedding is a whimsical approach to a winery wedding. Something that I haven’t seen and something that I really, really love.

From Allyson…

Stephanie and Rob decided to get married at a winery they frequented during their dating years, Zenaida Cellars. Zenaida is a unique 100% estate wine facility – meaning they grow all their grapes on location, for their wines and produce only “estate” wines. The winery has an exceptionally welcome and “at home” feel. With the Winemaker’s loft above, the bride and groom and/or family often take up residence for the wedding weekend, on site.

Stephanie and Rob chose an intimate location under a massive oak tree for their ceremony. The groom’s very best friend performed their wedding ceremony with lots of giggles and facts about the couple and their relationship. Family and friends stood around in support and had champagne in hand for their “first toast” immediately after the first kiss.
