Every so often a wedding comes along that is not only drop dead gorgeous, but has a beautiful story behind it as well. This wedding is capital FAB with it's vintage 1950's feel, handmade, one of a kind paper doll place cards, rooftop party, and beautiful orange details, courtesy of KD Event Design. But when you read about how much went into the planning of this beautiful day - when a family became one, you may just fall in love. So make...
"1950′s Inspired"
This adorable couple wanted something totally different and entirely meaningful for their engagement session and decided on a 50's inspired photo session that encompassed all the things they love. They infused bits and pieces of their loved ones into the shoot like the groom to be's grandfather's briefcase and hat and the bride to be's grandmother's engagement ring and wedding band. We totally LOVE that!
This Sydney celebration by Nerida McMurray Photography is a true rockabilly wedding with the funkiest, mid-century modern vibe. Not only do the bride, groom and their wedding party look incredibly chic and dapper in their 50s attire but the ALL the guests are arrived in the coolest, classic cars and rocking the most fabulous vintage threads. I don't think I've ever seen a more stylish looking group all in one place. ...
Let me just preface this by saying this couple has more coolness and style in their pinkie fingers than my husband and I combined but that's neither here nor there. What really counts is that Leigha Graf so perfectly captured their coolness, their vintage sensibilities, their undeniable chemistry and I kind of feel like this is exactly what they would be doing if the camera weren't there. Just hanging out in a field, grabbing some eats...
Hold onto your hats SMP Canada, because this love shoot by Tara Whittaker Photography is just be-yond adorable. One look at his blue bow tie and her vintage dress complete with blue tulle (amazing) is sure to make you dizzy with all the darling this Monday morning. Ferris wheels, candy apples, and carousels - it's a carnival of lovely and there is even more in...
Talk about cool. This rockin' retro photo shoot by The Life You Love Photography has it going on in spades. It's a colorful blast from the past with a little bit of a hip, modern edge and I am loving every little moment. Especially that smokin' 1963 Ford Falcon which just might be the best dressed wedding car I have ever seen! ...

We are talking trains, classic cars and loads of vintage details perfect for a getaway for two. Natalie Howe Photography captured all the prettiness behind this shoot and every image is ripe with steal-worthy...
For anyone that knows, loves or stalks the fabulous Elsie Larson from A Beautiful Mess, you have officially hit the wedding jackpot. Because the lovely, oh-so-lovely, crazy talented doll of a blogger has offered to share her recent wedding with us here on SMP. Yep. She chose Style Me Pretty to show off her beautiful, messy, take your breath away wedding and I couldn't be more thrilled. And with...
Confession: I think it's super cool when a bride says to heck with tradition and trades in the standard white dress for one that's fun and floral-y or even black for that matter. Why not, right? I'd love be at a wedding like that because you know it's gonna be tons of fun and secretly I just want to see the look on all the guests faces as the bride comes down the aisle. But...
This post is for all the bridesmaids in the house. This is not your typical bridal shower with cucumber sandwiches and G-rated parlor games. Friends of vintage-loving brides take note! Throw your babe-of-the-hour a pastel pajama party with plenty of poufs and pastries! Like this sultry shower with a '50s sex kitten vibe put together by bombshells Melissa of Pow Wow Vintage Rentals and...
