Baby Shower by Trent Bailey, FaceTime Beauty + Loli Events

As a mommy of not one but two little rugrats, I sort of love this next feature. Because we all know that one baby shower is a must, but two? Well, two seems excessive. Right? Or no? I can't decide. Anyway, Loli Events with the help of gorgeous photographs by Trent Bailey, is helping a girl out with their fun take on a second baby shower, appropriately coined a Sprinkle Party. Where the mama is simply...

Nicole of Me Oh My’s Home Photographed by Ashlee Raubach

We're all friends here, right? Which means that it's a safe place to confess that I am SUCH a nosey neighbor. I sneak glimpses into every room I pass, I look on the bottom of soap dishes to see who made them. I ask about every last detail I see and I can't wait to hear the story behind each and every piece. Which is why when we spotted Nicole's home -  photographed to stunning perfection by...

Let me just preface this by saying I fully admit to Instagram spying on Rhiannon of Hey Gorgeous Events and the second I caught a glimpse of her beautiful abode I begged her to share all the details here on Style Me Pretty. Her home is a reflection of her innate sense of style. That same romance and girly goodness that are folded into the weddings she so beautifully crafts can be found in the love-filled home she...

A Surprise Party, Part IV

It's been quite a day! But the reason that we wanted to break apart this particular party is because we want you to see what a fun and creative process planning something special in your own home can be. This was my first grown-up, I can't believe we hired a chef and actually had rentals in my home, definitely a splurge kind of party but it was so worth it. Sitting in such a warm and familiar spot, all gussied up and glittery, with the people that you love, sharing wine and laughs and a sense of...

A Surprise Party, Part III

Okay, you've seen the inspiration board and the invitation sketches and I'm hoping that you love the concept as much as I did. Organic, glamorous, intimate, warm and modern. All wrapped up into one big ball of pretty. Two of the areas that we really wanted to concentrate on for our Surprise Party were the bar area - which would include a fun pink champagne +...

A Surprise Party, Part II

Once you have your vision nailed down, it's time to start conceptualizing each piece. Starting with the paper goods, as it's those invitations that have to be popped into the mail before the rest of the party comes to fruition. And the paper pieces for this wedding ended up taking center stage. When we were conceptualizing everything, we really felt inspired by watercolor and calligraphy. Handcrafted pieces that addes a sense of art to our...

Dinner Party Inspiration at Crush by Sarah True

For a girl that is tethered to her desk the vast majority of the time, I'm pretty close to a kid in a candy store when we get to help host an event in our own hometown of Boston. Especially when it's on Newbury Street at the fabulous Crush boutique and literally overflowing with the most absurdly good cupcakes and pretties a girl could ever want. Designed and executed by our sweet friend...

Audrey’s 4th Birthday

My sweet baby girl turned four years old last weekend. Four. As in, she'll be in Kindergarden next year kind of four. It blows my mind how fast life goes and how I just barely blinked my eyes and poof. I have a little lady. A sweet, kind, gracious, lovely little lady that I get to kiss until my hearts content day after day after day. And so when she looked up at me with those huge blue eyes and asked for a princess party...a princess party she received. I know.

Al Fresco Luncheon from Carina Skrobecki

We've been feasting on all things Al Fresco today and with the cloudy skies outside my window, I couldn't be happier to soak in a bit of e-sunshine. Fabulous cocktails, inspired florals and an easy breezy attitude is what should always define outdoor entertaining and this next little gem of a luncheon, photographed by Carina Skrobecki, is just that. The best part? Totally approachable, no fuss design with a whole lot of laughter. Oh and we designed a fun...

A Little Girl’s Birthday Party!

When I started Style Me Pretty more than 5 years ago, my daughter Audrey was just a dream. Now, she's turning four years old and we're planning another perfectly pink birthday party. It will be the first birthday that she has a say in and one that will most definitely be overflowing with princesses and sparkly, sparkly somethings. So before the chaos ensues in a couple of weeks, I thought I'd take a moment to share the lovely that was her third birthday...nearly a year ago. With just 2 little...
