I’ve done my fair share of traveling in the past and one of my very favourite moments to date is witnessing the Grand Canyon for the very first time. It’s almost physically impossible to capture the magnificent beauty that’s happening before your eyes, but Bryce Covey does an incredible job at expressing it through his lens. From gaping craters to wild deer, you can see it all right here in the gallery!
WHERE TO STAY:
Phantom Ranch is the only lodging available inside the rim of the Grand Canyon.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Casual and comfortable. The weather can be very dynamic, it was sunny, stormy and rainy all in the same day so it’s a good idea to throw a light rain jacket in a backpack just in case.
WHERE TO EAT:
Sophie’s Mexican Kitchen in Tusayan is a very fun, colorful stop along the way to the Canyon.
NOT TO MISS:
Leave early so there is enough time allowed to take the bus tours around the park, which have exclusive access to some of the lookouts. Remember which is your favorite lookout and return 45 minutes before sunset to watch one of the beautiful sights I’ve ever seen.
