All I had to do was read that this beautiful Bride is an Anthropologie display artist to know I was in for a treat. And what a treat it is! Having DIY’d every decor item themselves, this couple’s talents shined bright, from their driftwood arbor to the Bride’s fantastic floral crown, photographed for us to enjoy by Riverland Studios. Get swept away with all this boho beauty right here.

From Riverland Studios… Noelle and Patrick finally tied the knot! The couple had been dating for ten years prior to their wedding day. The two grew up vacationing with their families on Hilton Head Island. “We have always joked about getting married there, so when it finally came time to take the next step, it made sense to begin there,” Noelle told us. “Our ideal wedding is a celebration of our union in front of our closest friends and family members. We want everyone to relax and be comfortable and just have fun together! We feel so blessed that for a long weekend we will be able to have all the people we love more than anything together at once.”
Noelle, a display artist at Anthropologie, worked with Patrick to design the entire wedding day from scratch! We love all of their DIY details: a beautiful driftwood arbor, handcrafted tablescapes, and a flower crown made from scratch! Noelle chose linen, baby’s breath, sea glass, and driftwood to compliment Hilton Head’s rustic and natural landscape. Soft pastel colors and natural textures wash over guests like a vintage dream.
An eager group of family and friends watched as Noelle and Patrick exchanged vows at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort. After a beautiful beachside ceremony, the celebration continued at the reception with dinner, dancing, and homemade (of course!) cookies and cake for dessert.

I like to think of Hilton Head Island as my secret vacation spot. It has beautiful beaches, great golfing and stunning scenery but it’s not overly touristy. This wedding by Spencer Special Events captured the low country vibe perfectly and didn’t try to compete with the Island’s natural beauty. And while it’s my hidden gem, I’ll share all these beautiful pics by Erin Sage, because well, they’re just too pretty to not.

From Libby O Marketing… Becca and Jon were married in May 2014 in a beautiful ceremony under the Liberty Oak Tree in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The 300+ year old Liberty Oak was a stunning and special Lowcountry venue under which to exchange vows, with the 200 guests overlooking the iconic red and white striped Harbour Town Lighthouse.
Becca looked stunning in a form-fitting gown, her bridesmaids wore beautiful shades of robins egg blue and carried varying hues of pink flowers. It was a soft and romantic look. The groom and groomsmen wore khaki suits, which contributed to the overall soft and romantic look.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the lawn of the 18th green of Harbour Town Links golf course, which was custom designed with living room furniture, patricians, and set up with cafe lights for under the stars – all to give it a polished look and elevating the outdoor tent experience.
Inside the custom draped tent, Spencer Special Events touched upon rustic elegance. Beautiful, rustic lanterns hung from the ceiling. With custom farm tables, specialty made linens, gold mercury class votive candles, and exquisite centerpieces, this was truly a spectacular display inside.

When it comes to southern weddings, swaying bald cypress trees, wrap around porches and palmettos make spotting one easy enough. But what I love most about southern soirees is the hospitality and love that is woven into every moment, which Morgan Gallo Events nailed in this stunner. The story unfolds in these breathtaking images from Rach Lea Photography.
From Rach Lea Photography…Danielle and Ryan did not disappoint. They planned the most wonderful, laid back love filled day! Surrounded by 80 of their closest friends and family on the gorgeous Daufuski Island at Haig Point Lighthouse! Being able to photograph this Hilton Head wedding was such a fun change of scenery from downtown savannah weddings. They chose soft southern colors and a laid back feel to their day, Which was perfect for the venue and the view that spoke for itself!
