Perfectly rustic, perfectly pretty and everything in between, this wedding is an example of laid-back elegance done oh-so-right.  The perfect merger of rich, dark hues with an eclectic mix of details, it’s the sort of day that makes you wish you could marry all over again… just so you could steal every last stylish moment captured by Danielle Nowak.  And we totally support that, by the way.  Click here for more.

From the Bride… We both love the outdoors and wanted our wedding to feel earthy, yet elegant, so we chose to have our wedding at Terrain at Styer’s, which is a rustic venue that serves amazing seasonal menu items sourced from local Philadelphia farms. Our vision for the night was to create an intimate dinner party rather than a traditional event, so dinner was served family style in a cozy wooden barn and followed by an assortment of seasonal pies.

From there, other choices like floral arrangements and s’mores by the fire pit all came naturally with the feeling we were trying to capture. Tom and I both work at the Urban Outfitters home office, so the majority of our décor were items found at URBN samples sales. However, our favorite piece of décor was a Spoke Woven dream catcher that we received from a close friend the day before our wedding. It was an impromptu addition that we hung from the temple during our ceremony and really helped to set the mood for the evening.

Looking back, after months of planning and countless appointments, it was exhilarating to see everything come together so seamlessly. Having both of our families and friends gathered together to witness and celebrate our love will forever be a fond memory.
