Just when I think spring can’t come soon enough, I see a shoot like this one from Des Marie Photography and find myself raising a glass to all things winter yet again. It’s literally overflowing with all the little things I adore about the coldest season and topped off with some amazing blooms by Poppy Lane Design. It’s cozy, warm and super stylish – and you can cuddle up with every gorgeous image right here.

From Des Marie PhotographyI am seriously jumping out of my seat from excitement that I’m sharing this gorgeous styled shoot with you all! I had a vision of producing a wedding with mostly neutral color decor but pops of colors from the holiday season without screaming CHRISTMAS. I went with a few current fashions trends to make this shoot stand out. You will see that the bride is not wearing a white or ivory dress but a stunning gold dress. Lumberjack chic was the inspiration for the groom’s plaid shirt with a hunter green bow tie & navy blue suspenders. We carefully chose Express Clydesdale’s barn as our venue. Whenever I think of winter and the Christmas season I think of the ever so beautiful Clydesdale horses. I reached out to local vendors to make my vision come to life. I am so pleased to submit one of my dream shoots to such an amazing wedding blog. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
