I’ve got just about the prettiest thing ever for you today, courtesy of Lindsay Madden Photography. It’s an engagement session that is sweet, romantic, soft, and beyond beautiful… featuring two of the cutest love birds you’ll lay eyes on today. If this doesn’t brighten your morning tenfold, nothing will.

Matt and I went to Loyola College in Baltimore together and we met our Junior year. We started dating our Senior year and after five years together Matt asked me to marry him. He proposed at the apple orchard down the street from my house called Wilkens Fruit and Fir Farm. He said he picked the location for our proposal because it was a place that we always looked forward to visiting each fall for apple picking and it is such a lovely backdrop for such an important moment between us (and they also have delicious apple cider doughnuts). He also knew that he wanted us to be close to our family so we could immediately share the news with them and celebrate together right after- and celebrate we did! Celebrating that night with our families was the perfect way to end our perfect day. When it came time for us to pick a location for our engagement session we knew right away that we wanted it to be at Wilkens- it was a special place for us and we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous backdrop!
