From Jason of Jason Walz Photography… As a photographer, what makes weddings amazing are the ever-changing landscape of details and the variety of people with whom I work. Each wedding offers the observers and participants a chance to reflect and learn, as well as to celebrate. At Sarah and Justin’s wedding, one thing that struck me was the positive energy that was exuded by the parents of the couple. Their support and joy was infectious to the guests and amplified the happiness of Sarah and Justin. I met Sarah’s mother, Jo Ann, during their photography search. She shared Sarah’s enthusiasm and sense of style, and I could tell she was the ideal partner for helping Sarah plan her wedding. These facts, as well as her incredible spirit, were notable from the start. I was thrilled when I was hired as the photographer. Not surprisingly, Sarah and Jo Ann planned an amazing event, which was held in Westhampton, New York, at Oceanbleu. Sarah looked gorgeous in her Reem Acra gown, and Justin was dashing in his J.Crew tuxedo. Their ceremony on the beach was both elegant and casual, with big smiles and laughter. This sensibility carried on throughout the reception, culminating in a late night bonfire on the beach to cut the autumn chill.

From Todd France Photography…Sean is the hotelier and restaurateur behind such massive successes as The Jane, The Maritime, and The Bowery Hotels, and Rachelle is the founder of guestofaguest.com. The couple embodies modern elegance and style both in their work and in their personal lives, so it was no doubt that their wedding was a tasteful affair to be remembered. Rachelle’s dress was designed by Cynthia Rowley, who was on hand to make sure everything was as beautiful as can be.  The couple celebrated on the gorgeous Montauk property of photographer Peter Beard. Guests were treated to a lush, intimate setting complete with a flower-petal lined pathway which led to the tent where the reception was held.  Inside, the celebration continued into the evening amongst family, friends, music, and delicious food.
