From Robert & Kathleen Photographers… Kaitlin had a clear vision for her big day – a romantic, vintage-infused affair on the grounds of sprawling Long Island estate . With the help of Erica Powell from Ambiance Luxe Wedding Designs, Kaitlin’s vision came to life even better than she had imagined it.
The nerves Kaitlin was feeling leading up to the ceremony melted away in an instant once she saw Nick waiting for her at the front of the church. There was a noticeable change – her shoulders relaxed, her smile broadened. As she stood across from Nick before saying her vows, she looked into his eyes. Everything leading up to that moment was no where near as important as every moment after this would be. Because after this moment, they would be husband and wife.
When Nick put the ring onto Kaitlin’s finger he looked at her and smiled. She was even more beautiful than he thought she would be, if that was even possible. And he couldn’t help but feel like he was the luckiest man in the world. From the day he met Kaitlin, life guarding together at a club in Long Island, she had made his life more fun. She made him smile more. She made every day easier, just by being by his side.
Their love had brought them half way around the world, from New York where they had met to China where they live now, and it had made them stronger. But from this moment on, they would be forever linked to one another, no matter where life took them.
And as they walked down the aisle together as husband and wife, Nick stole one more glance at her. She was his wife. Their life as a married couple was just beginning. Beijing, Long Island, it doesn’t really matter where they are. They could make anywhere a home. Because home was wherever they were, as long as they are together.
