Could there be a more breathtaking venue than the The Palm House at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden? The glass-dome conservatory is the perfect setting for a romantic ceremony and the most elegant of receptions even with a raindrop or two. Brookelyn Photography captured one of the loveliest, most magical weddings my lucky little eyes have ever seen. You won’t want to miss a moment from this grand affair so make sure you stop by the full gallery!

From the bride… Steve and I were married at the beautiful Palm House at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens on the evening of the 23rd of September. Originally, we planned for an outdoor ceremony under a willow tree in the gardens, but torrential rain was pouring down the entire day and evening just did not seem to want to let up. Fortunately, I could not have chosen a better venue because a not-so-ideal weather situation turned out to be such a magical moment. Walking down the aisle while the rain fell onto the magnificent glass house was something that I’ll never forget. It’s quite hard to even describe the day and the feeling you get when looking around and seeing those that you love all gathered together to support and celebrate in your love. There were plenty of moments throughout the evening when I took a step back, watched everyone and really took it all in. It was important to me that I was present and could remember as many moments as possible and looking back, I can say that I do.
Our wedding was truly wonderful. I could not imagine anything better. We wanted a fun and romantic wedding, and I think we achieved just that. The dance floor was packed from the second our DJ started spinning up until the last song. One of the most incredible parts of the day was feeling all the love around us. We were truly humbled by our guests who traveled from all parts of the world to share this special day with us. As my lovely maid of honor toasted, “Here’s to love, laughter and happily ever after.”
From Brookelyn Photography… One detail I wanted to point out is that Steve’s last name is Choo… So I thought it particularly adorable that she added a “Mrs.” to the bottom of her Jimmy Choo shoes!

What a gorgeous wedding. That dress is to die for. Who made the bride's wedding ring?!!
Lovely! I love that this wedding is elegant and classic, but has unique little touches.
Beautiful bride in a spectacular dress, beautiful bridesmaids, a gorgeous venue, exquisite flowers- and I agree with the bride, absolutely magical.
Would love to know the various designers of the bridesmaid dresses. They are beautiful!
@meg and @Chloe: I've sent an email to Brookelyn Photography asking about the ring and the bridesmaid dresses. Hopefully we'll hear back soon!
These are beautiful pictures. I am getting married here in September 2012, so looking at these pictures is making me so excited!
Thank to everyone for all the lovely comments.
To answer a few of the questions above, my ring was made at Marisa Perry. marissaperry.com
The bridesmaid dresses all came from different designers. They are as follows, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Nicole Miller, Jcrew, Amsale and WHITE by Vera Wang.
Thanks Lindsey!
What a beautiful wedding! Lindsey, you looked amazing. Thank you so much for letting Brooke and I be a part of your big day. xo
The wedding is so gorgeous! I love the venue and your dress is stunning. I'm trying to go for a similar look with my bridesmaid dresses, but I'm not sure how to specify the details to my friends. Can you let me know how you asked the bridesmaids to dress so I have a better idea? The neutral tones look gorgeous. Thank you!!
Hi Jana. I actually sent the girls a group email with a few images of the color palette I had in mind. They were all quite excited to be wearing long chiffon dresses in the pastel color way so it was fun to search for them all. The first dress for my maid of honor I found right away and the 2nd didn't come until months later. The most important thing is to make sure there is a balance in colors. Amsale offers neutrals in many different styles so that may be a good point of reference to start with. Hope that helps.
Hi Lindsey,
Thank you so much for your detailed response! I have been looking at the Amsale dresses, and they are beautiful, but I love how you have a mix of all different companies to give it a more unique feel. It's good to know that if I give them guidelines, such as how you asked your bridesmaid to wear long chiffon in pastel color, it can really create a beautiful look.
Thank you again for your help. Your wedding is stunning!
-Jana
This is a beautiful wedding!
Where are the bridesmaids' earring from? They are gorgeous!
The bridesmaids earrings were all purchased at the J.Crew Bridal shop on Madison Ave over the course of a year.
The bridal shop does a lot of collaborations and limited edition pieces so most of the earrings came from those collections. Jennifer Behr for J.Crew did the pair I purchased for my maid of honor who is wearing the pale gray dress.

Everything in this wedding was perfect. It was a true honor to be part of it as the maid of honor. Lindsey did an amazing job putting together such an elegant and dreamy event, and Brooke was great at capturing every detail of that magical day.
