We’ve reached the end to yet another week of pretty here on SMP New York and we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off your weekend than with this uber-charming engagement session by Alison Mayfield Photography Studio. Believe me, you won’t be able to stop smiling once you lay your eyes on this adorable duo, who decided to celebrate their impending nuptials with a photo shoot in their favorite city… and flew all of the way over from Indonesia for a three day e-session in NYC! From Alison Mayfield Photography Studio… Here is a “fab” pre-wedding/engagement shoot for you to see! I am currently based in Thailand and I had a cute couple from Indonesia who wanted to fly over to the USA and re-live some good times in their favorite city! Here in Asia, pre-wedding shoots are huge, they shoot for either one or two days (This one was 3!!) and I had never experienced this before. (Coming from New York where our engagement shoots would last up to 3 hours, at the most!) It was a very exciting experience for me!

Thanks so much Alison for these wonderful photographs! We had such an exciting time doing the shoot in the greatest city in the world with such an awesome photographer! The most difficult part was selecting which pictures to blow up and display for our wedding back in October....we ended up choosing around 12 pictures and enlarging them on canvas for display in the ballroom foyer....but we also made the pics into a slideshow and kept it looping on a screen in the foyer during the wedding...there's just too many awesome pics to choose from! We had sooo many comments from our wedding guests praising our prewed pictures and how natural they look! =)
Alison! Amazing pictures!! You make shooting the engagement pictures look effortless! Wonderful details! We wanted to print so many pictures for our wedding and we ended up renting a huge screen to loop all the pictures! And I'm so happy that SMP is featuring our pictures! :)
