Love is in the air and swirling all around these two love birds and their Governor’s Island Engagement Session. They make it look so easy…posing for one gorgeous image after another as they frolic, bike, picnic and stare lovingly in to each other’s eyes. From You Go, I Go, We Go Photography…This sweet tandem bike engagement session was shot on Governor’s Island in NY. (A tiny island often missed between Liberty Island & Ellis Island) We thought it would be perfect because the island is only open during the summer, and the ferry ride over from Manhattan or Brooklyn is 5 minutes tops! So close and yet you feel like you are being transported to the European Countryside. A much needed escape from the go go go of NYC.
Manuella & Alan plan to marry in France next year so we wanted to create a shoot that mirrored this feeling, complete with a picnic appropriate for a grassy French field. We thought an old tandem Schwinn bike would be the perfect addition to such a feeling. With the help of an old stone fort, cobblestone paths, and empty fields, we really felt like we were in another world!
