Leigh Photography…After an intimate NYC City Hall Wedding a year ago, Greg and Yolande were finally able to gather their far-flung relatives in one place for a chic, beach side reception at the Montauk Yacht Club. The ocean and the sun were the inspiration for their coral and turquoise color scheme that was reflected in the flowers, table designs and a scrumptious dessert table. The all white reception space at the Yacht Club really shined with these effortlessly chic designs. Because the ceremony was long over, guests were able to enjoy one another’s company during a small tea ceremony, dinner and dancing. Guests traveled from as far as Hong Kong and Minnesota for the occasion.
Honoring Greg and Yolande’s travels, each table was named after a city where they had lived, or spent time and each was graced with a cigar box containing a small Kodak video camera, pens and note to guests to “Capture the Moment”. Place cards and escort cards made from maps further complimented the travel theme. The dessert table echoed the wedding colors with piles of candy in either coral or turquoise.
