Get ready to fall head over heels in love with this Rye Wedding by Vanessa Joy Photography. Head. over. (hopefully very pretty) heels. There is so much pretty to be had I felt like I could make 100 boards when putting this post together. I tried to reign it in, but that means the full gallery is just that – full. Full of so much pretty you can spend all day in there, and I highly suggest you do just that. See even more here!

From Vanessa Joy Photography… Chrissy and Ryan had a super-cute engagement session in Hoboken last month, complete with two perfect books for starting out as a husband and wife. I knew then that Chrissy had an eye for detail, and their wedding definitely showed that strong-suit! I was literally in detail heaven throughout the day and every single thoughtful touch really brought out Chrissy and Ryan’s personalities.
Ironically, just a few days prior, I was telling a friend that I was dying to shoot a personalized wire hanger, and Chrissy made that dream come true, along with engraved wedding rings with The Simpsons quote “I choo-choo-choose you,” custom wood carved initials, “Thank You” on a string, funky sunglasses, Mr. & Mrs. chair signs, pink bathrobes for the bridesmaids, intricately chosen flowers, doily wrapped flower petals for the church exit, a turquoise vintage Chevrolet get-away car, and Maid of Honor homemade “Whoopee! We’re married!” pies for guests to enjoy during their drive to the reception. We made a stop to an old historic church on the way to the reception for some seriously amazing pictures of just the two of them before heading to The Wainwright house.
The reception ceiling had Chinese lanterns, mason jars for cocktail and reception table flowers, a photo booth for extra entertainment during the reception, a clothes-line frame full of old photos hung with clothes pins, flip-flops for dancing in, a cupcake-cake (with an actual cake-topper to complete the traditional cake-cutting ceremony), a coffee and tea station with a huge fun tea cup and custom made glass 6-foot server platter with coffee beans and other fun embedded in it, candy bar favors on the way out, and a big finish with a sparkler send-off.
I seriously hope you enjoy all of these fun details (if for naught else than ideas) as I truly enjoyed photographing each and every one of them!

Super Cute! I love the amazing photos and the wonderful details captured so perfectly by Vanessa!
I love the bridesmaid dresses. Which one is it from jcrew??
whoa, those bridesmaid dresses with the detailing on the back? love.
I love when a bride gets her way with little doses of pink. ;)
LOVE this wedding. Where are the shoes from?
Seems pretty common. Most of these ideas I have seen before. I see mason jars being used all the time at events, everyone just can't get enough of them! Nice save the dates.
Don't you just LOVE the vintage car! This entire wedding blended the rustic with elegant so beautifully.

A Dream Wedding
Sooo excited! Getting married here in two months! I love to get some last minute inspiration for the final details. Thanks for sharing.
oooooh i just adore this!!!
LOVE that bridesmaids dress!! And the pink shoes!!! Okay, AND the car!
Thanks everyone! I had so much fun planning this wedding and Vanessa did a terrific job of capturing the day - I love the pictures! Shoes are from Me Too (Jeanette) and the bridesmaids had their choice of wearing the Ashley or Alisanne Dress (the one with the bow) from J.Crew in Pewter. The car's owner was a close family friend and unfortunately he doesn't rent it out for weddings, but I'm so glad he made an exception for ours!
Hi,
Where did you get the matching robes for the girls? Do they come in other colors?
Hi,
Yes where are the robes from? Also I love the save the date cards and the invitations. Are they from an online store?
