I don’t really know where to start with this wedding. And to be perfectly honest, it isn’t even the wedding itself that I have been obsessing over for months now. It’s the bride. And her dress. And her flowers. And the INSANELY gorgeous images by New York wedding photographer, Karen Wise. So rather than go on and on an on, like I normally do, I think I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Scott proposed at the top of the Soho Grand Hotel in New York City. It was the biggest surprise of my life and, as I reflect on that day, I realize I shouldn’t have been so surprised because I’m sure Scott wouldn’t have done it any other way. He hid the proposal within another surprise, his sister’s 30th birthday celebration, so I wasn’t the least bit suspicious. Scott and I have dated since high school and all along the way he’s been full of surprises, like asking me to his senior prom in a jar of mayonnaise. Immediately following his proposal all of our family and closest friends joined us on the rooftop for a party, and even a rainbow. This festive time filled with family and friends set the tone for our wedding plans; being surrounded by the people we love was key.
So much more to come.

I would second Alexandria's comment and question as to the bridesmaids dresses. Beautiful wedding!
Hey girls...BM dresses are J. Crew:)
Beautiful! I think the bridesmaid dresses are Jcrew (Silk chiffon twist-tank dress in graphite: http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Shop_By_Category/dresses/weddingsparties/PRDOVR~98999/98999.jsp )
So lovely! Where did the mother of the bride get her dress?
I know this answer is coming, but who made the bridal gown!? It is in my top two favorite gowns ever! Perfection.

That bracelet is gorgeous!! Where is it from?
This is the definition of elegance. I am speechless.
YAH! finally a NYC wedding!
Those flowers are GORGEOUS! So romantic. It seems as if they blend perfectly with the colors of the entire day ...if Jane Austen were getting married today, she'd probably have flowers just like this. Beautiful.
Aha! It looks like you got married at the chapel at Columbia University. Am I correct? Lovely!
I love how polished, but not AT ALL stiff, it all looks!
And the bride's hair... PERFECTION.
Third for where the mother of the bride dress is from? This is just the cut my mother has been searching for!
I love this wedding! I got the same dresses for my bridesmaids... we get married in September 2010! Love it :)

amazing photos..............and the dress is gorgeous as well as the entire production
The most unbelievably gorgeous and elegant dress I have EVER seen. Wish more brides would choose a portrait neckline style or something with straps/sleeves. SOOO pretty.
Are you sure the mother of the bride's dress is Lela rose? I am having a difficult time finding it.
Fantastic lighting for the photos. Bride looks very elegant and natural. Her dress is flattering.
