This is the kind of wedding that warms my little sappy heart right up. The kind where details are a plenty, but it’s the smiles on everyone’s faces that really catch my eye. Turn Loose The Art captured all the heart-warming moments of this Lake Winnipesaukee beauty, and you can see them all here.
From the Bride…Growing up summering at Lake Winnipesaukee wasn’t just a vacation for the DeZenzo clan. When Amy and Kevin got engaged, she couldn’t think of another place she’d like to choose for their wedding. Both grew up on the outskirts of Boston, so they and their families began planning for their destination wedding in Wolfeboro, NH at the Wolfeboro Inn.
Amy threw in a few DIY projects, from the favors (homemade blueberry jam picked on the lake island where they have a summer home) to the drink flags and her brooch bouquet. Her dad has spent years fishing at the lake and has a collection of vintage glass bottles found in the depths, so they used those glasses as vases in the reception. Some Etsy finds include the wedding sign and thumbprint guestbook.
When asked what inspired the wedding design, the bride replied, “LAKE TIME!!! No one takes my dad away from the lake during the summer! You can not interrupt lake time! plus I spent every summer up at the lake so it was always the place I wanted to get married at. You saw it, it really wasn’t that hard to convince Kevin that the lake was the location! So the theme was ‘fun’ carefree fun! Enjoying the lake, nature, but mostly enjoying the people/family that you are with. That is the essence of Lake Time!”
