Intimate Glacier National Park Wedding

This might just be the cutest cake setup I’ve ever seen. It’s genius if you ask me, and ties perfectly into this lakeside soiree complete with breathtaking views of Glacier National Park. Planned and designed by Field Wedding Studio, there’s no shortage of detail to gush over. With Orange Photographie behind the lens, THE VAULT got a bit bigger and a whole lot more beautiful today.

From The Bride…My vision of my wedding day was a late summer’s day next to the lake with the beautiful backdrop of water, mountains, and blue sky; and Glacier National Park did not cease to amaze me. There was a soft acoustic tune playing by our guitarist; we were surrounded by lush flowers of pastels and soft embellishments, all while gathered around by the love and happiness of our family. Our officiant fit perfectly into the mold of our vision and delivered a sweet but simple ceremony that will forever be a precious memory. Our reception was dreamy as well. We were tucked in behind the trees upon a hill where the most gorgeous dinner site was set up for us. There were mountain views, along with a mini bar, bistro tables and dinner table flourished with beautiful flowers of pastel and hints of teal and mercury glass for decor. A rustic tent held our delicious wedding cake and small pecan pies, and the mood was set by string lighting as the sun set behind the mountains. It was truly a magical day.

From Kelsey Motes-Conners of FieldCrystal & Clark envisioned an intimate destination gathering of a dozen of their loved ones to celebrate their marriage, and we were thrilled to collaborate with them to create the wedding they imagined. While working with these two totally lovely (and in love) human beings, we were inspired by their unique combination of classic taste & playful style– and we designed each personal detail of their day with that combination in mind. Our favorite moment was watching Crystal, Clark & their guests arrive by vintage coach to their dinner setting, all waving the small ‘YAY’ flags we made just for them in pure celebration.

Winter Wonderland Engagement Session

This stunning engagement session? Well, it’s got me willing to brave freezing temps for a similar outcome. Surrounded by snowflakes, these scarf wearing sweethearts share cocoa and kisses, the result? Pure winter perfection. Jeremiah And Rachel Photography were behind the lens and snapped up every winter wonderland worthy moment here.

From Jeremiah And Rachel Photography… Aly and Nick are two beautiful souls, engaged, and embracing the snow Montana brings our way. We planned for their engagement session to set the tone for their upcoming Winter Wedding, and I think we got just that! It was practically a blizzard the entire time, but we didn’t mind as long as we got to warm up periodically! The snow was enchanting and we felt like we were in a giant snow globe as Aly and Nick snuggled a little closer together to stay warm. Both of them with their dark hair and porcelain skin looked like a fairy tale. I was half expecting Mr. Tumnus from Narnia to walk around the corner with his umbrella and parcels.

Montana Elopement from Jeremiah and Rachel Photography

This Montana elopement from Jeremiah and Rachel Photography is officially in the running for one of my favorite weddings ever on SMP. I know that’s a big statement. But just take one look at the images below, and you’ll be arranging your top five list too. It’s cozy with the perfect amount of glam, and if you didn’t catch it in our latest SMP Fashion & Beauty Magazine, you’ll want to spend some serious quality time with this stunner right here.

From the Bride… When we fell in love in Montana, we knew that Montana was the place we wanted to celebrate our marriage. We wanted something small and casual, so we decided on Great Northern Resort. We did our first look in a meadow and said our vows with the wonder of Glacier National Park. In typical Montana fashion, the sky gave way to a rainstorm. The rain, however did not do anything to dampen the spirit of the evening, and in fact made our reception dinner in a log-pole tent even cozier! The scene of the sun setting behind the mountains and passing clouds reflected the majesty of nature for which Big Sky Country is known.

Aside from focusing on Montana, we also wanted our reception to have a 1920’s feel. We spent weeks researching and perfecting old-style cocktail and RJ mixed up drinks for the entire party. Our caterer happened to collect antique cookbooks and served up a meal of hors d’oeuvres from the era. We spent the night enjoying wonderful food and drinks with our family.

The night turned out to be even more amazing than we ever could have imagined. We had intended to elope, but realized at the last minute that we wanted to celebrate with out loved ones as well. The night ended with us sharing one last drink by ourselves in the candlelit tent, enjoying our first moments as husband and wife in the cool, Montana summer night.
